Anyone tried the HS1 Ti rotors? No information on the Avid www. yet, but they are for sale on numerous online stores. They're available in 200 mm.

I do realise that historically Ti rotors have had a crap track record in DH. Probably applies to the HS 1 steel rotor too...

Looking at the price I'm pretty sure those aren't ti rotors. I bet they are standard hs1 steel rotors with ti bolts. 6 ti bolts is like 35 dollars. Theres a lot more ti in a 203 rotor, so much that there's no way an entire rotor would only be $50-60.

I have a hard time seeing why you'd spend any significant amount of money on rotors besides the shimano XT ice-tech rotors, which are only $60. Aluminum spider, ice tech composite...otherwise go for the cheapies.

I have seen people try to warranty brake pads and tires....so yes, you can! ;)
I've warrantied quite a few tires, either for casings that wears through prematurely or a faulty bead (uneven seam that can blow off the rim).
