I have also seen them at Beer supply stores. I alway have used large syringes with volume marks. Friend of mine picked up a bunch at the pharmacy and handed them out to those of us who wrench their own stuff.

Just by a measuring cup. Easier to clean up anyways.
:stupid:

That's what I used to use. I somehow came across a nice plastic metric/US graduated cup with a pouring spout I use now, but can't remember where I got it. Bought it in store somewhere though.

Buy a really big syringe instead. Really easy to measure and much easier to dispense w/o making a mess. When doing an oil change (fox 40), you don't even pull the caps since you can just inject it thru the foot bolt hole.

that's my method as well. easier to get the oil into the fork too.

it also doesn't hurt that i work for a syringe manufacturer and have a ready supply of large volume syringes

Wash and dry the rubber part of the plunger when done. Certain types of oils can cause them to swell if exposed for long periods making them a PITA to use.

I have no idea where I am
Anybody got any oil preferences for a Rocksox Revelation ? I've tried several oils, Bell Ray, Golden Spectro, Finish Line, in Marzocchi forks and so far liked Amsoil the best.

How important is oil quality in an air fork ?

Ironically I was rebuilding my Pike for the first time in........too long, knowing I was going to see this when I ripped it apart. I shall rebuild as if I never saw it and see how long it lasts. Ignorance is bliss after all.....

Yea, bad (read: toast) lower bushing. Just going to smooth it out as best as possible and rebuild. Eff it. I'll make it through another season on it then by a new fork for myself for Christmas.

I'm not dumping $90 into an 8 year old fork, but I appreciate the thought. It's rideable and doesn't leak, just a bit of a play and not as smooth as it used to be. I'll pick up a new fork in the fall/winter.
