Riding the baggage carousel.
Road trip from teh Springs to Portland on the agenda for the end of May on the beemer. Need a road trip playlist for the iPod. Commence with the suggestions. Any music welcome, except any thing that might qualify as "country" written after 1980.

Nowhere Man!
He is going on a roadtrip?? If he watches this while driving and crashes into a bridge abutment and dies I will forward your post to his mourning family so that you get charged with Manslaughter and go to jail. You thoughtless bastard. Putting us all at risk like that?

Try new Jack White album, Blockhead, Amon Tobin's latest - Isam.

Though for a long roadtrip I'd try podcasts or audiobooks. Some nerdist podcast issues are great. Slashfilmcast if you're into movies.

Download a book from the library. If you haven't read it yet, the Dune trilogy is pretty good.

i have "a dance with dragons" on audio if you want it.

Downloaded some Hitch, Dawkins and Harris (on easter sunday!) that I'll probably listen to, need to find me some fiction to break that stuff up though probably. I read Dance with Dragons else wise that would be a good suggestion, got another?

Some great music suggestions in here, some of which I already had but hadn't thought of. Thanks guys! Keep them coming.

All of which are full albums. They have great song transitions and you don't even realize that 45 minutes has gone by, good time killer!!! And it's great music with a good message!
