My car will remain vandal free because I have a scary alarm and I park it in vandal-free sections of the places where I reside.

Karma's a biatch. I've known for that quite a while. Sounds like you need to cleanse your conscience.
A HS friend parked his car at his suburban school on a Saturday night. He returned to his car a hour later and someone shattered his window.

Nothing was stolen and the crime rate in the area is extremely low.

Crap happens to everyone. I wouldn't wave "It won't happen to me" flag too much.

why do white people bitch about their cars getting scratched up?
You don't think someone has the right to bitch if they wake up to find all 4 tires on their car slashed by some douchebag?

You have issues my friend. Unless that was blatant sarcasm, which I took it as.

thanks for the 'Dumbass' comment. probably should have kept it to yourself.

So these 'hooligans' decided to go on a 30+ tire ruining rampage and along the way stopped and thought "OH, lets fvck this windshield up and/or steal it!" ??
How do they go from popping tires to stealing windshield gaskets?

What kind of car do you have? Is it expensive/shiny?

And what kind of tires are these people buying?!

"Amit Rai of 88 Edgelawn Ave. said all four tires on his 2000 Mercedes-Benz S500 were slashed. The price tag for new tires on his vehicle will be about $1,600. Rai, an electrician, filed a claim with his insurance company and missed work yesterday to deal with the problem."

An electrician? With an S500? And spending $1,600 on tires? RIGHT.

Best part of the story: I knew it all along! God is not merciful!! The end is nigh!
"It's just destruction for the sake of destruction," he said. "If there's a just and merciful God, he would have let me catch them."
I knew it all along! God is not merciful!! The end is nigh!
a 2000 s500 is worth 6-7k on a good day and if it has stock wheels there are no options for cheep tires.........

I scratched the bejesus out of my windshield when I used a partially serrated knife to scrape frost off it. I also thought it wouldn't hurt, but neither the knife or windshield seemed to care about hardness scales.

Riding the baggage carousel.
On the steel and glass, Mohs scale is roughly the same. Hardening of the material will definitely make it far harder than glass. Exercise the spine knife to give it a little bit of flexibility. If you do not harden, will not maintain our competitive edge.

You clearly don't know crabjoe. He probably took that same day off from work to drive all over new England if he had to to get that windshield replaced. If not it would just gnaw at him, a big old scratch saying, "look at me joe, aren't I so big? And right across your windshield too!"

It'd drive him batsh!t crazy.

lol. I bet. But you get used to it. I dont even see the two scratches I put there anymore. They blend right in with the scenery in front of me. But they were giving me the finger for the first month or so for sure. I was just replying to say through my own stupidity, I've experienced scratching a windshield.

It was the Jeep. A $3 tube of black gasket sealant to stop water from getting in and it's done.

The Jeep has bigger issues at the moment
