Morning.

One day closer to the weekend. Got plenty of sleep last night, the coffee is tasting good, heard some good tunes on Pandora during my drive to work,... I'm thinking it's going to be a good day.

Wow, I am not normally this awake in the morning.

Jumpin jeebus today sucks already. Weather was CRAZY last night, slept like isht, the lock is busted on my cave so I can't get into my office, and planes are piling up deep.

HELLO, IF YOU ASK ME!

Meetings most of the day today which means I won't get much work done. That's nice since I only have mountains of it on my desk. #whitecollarproblems

My garden is gone. Just destroyed by the hail.

I'm not going to get a chance to check till I get home, but based on what was happening to my roses out front, I suspect my garden also did not fare well. A sh*t storm is predicted again for this afternoon.
I think I'm going to re-plant a lot of my greens in my cloth pots so that I can move them under the patio in bad weather. The heartier plants should fare well, but not the greens.

Good morning everyone.
I too could use a bike ride. But I don't see one in sight. Maybe sometime over the weekend. Which is feeling closer all the time!
No hail here. But pouring rain and wind still. Got a decent load of free firewood last night. There is plenty left and I hope to get back there to get it. (in all of my spare time!)
Had a delicous bbq'd chicken last night prepared by the wife! With potato's and a salad that was fresh from our garden! And by garden, I mean lettuce in plastic pots on the deck!

I was actually just informed by teh wife that a couple big branches have broken out of a tree out front sometime during the night. Guess I know what I'm doing when I get home. :disgust:

Gave my controls project report yesterday. My results blew the rest out of the water. For once having real world experience helped me compared to all those whippersnappers with their fancy book learnin'. 13 hours and 45 minutes until my summer begins.

I think I learned more the first 6 months of full-time work than I did in 4 years of engineering school. Well.....more useful knowledge that is.

Dinner at my parents last night followed by the driving range with the brother and old man. The new-old clubs are a success.

Morning! Rainy, windy, cold June day here in Seattle. Storms predicted for tomorrow, just in time for a five-year-old field trip to the park! ...erm, have fun out there!!

The storm which rolled through last night was epic. I've never seen such sustained lightning ever, it flashed and cracked across the sky, and just stayed there illuminating the storm clouds and mountains like daylight.

DMG: build TR450?? Your post is fvcking worthless without pics. (and nice choice, btw)

I wouldn't call our weather crazy but it sure sucked donkey's nuts. It was supposed to be the first night the lifts spun at our local hill. there was a 20% probability of precipitation, which in my books means 80% chance of no rain. Well, I got there and it was nice and sunny. I paid for my pass, got suited up, waited for my buddies to finish their run and the heavens friggin' opened up. I got one run in the piss pourin' rain, and the lightnening started. lift shuts down. oh well, lets go for poutine and beer. damn, the poutine place closed 5 minutes ago?!?! fvck. what a waste of a ride night. and I really needed a ride. Hopefully Sunday is better.

Lol what? Since when do you golf?
Since I half-jokingly told Matt I'd go golfing with him, then after thinking about it realized it might actually be fun. The good news is I got rid of the slice I always used to have and can actually get relatively close to where I'm aiming for.

I told him if he wants to do a serious round of golf he should go with you.

Let's all go! Beer -> golf -> beer.
