I'm too lazy to skip back thru the pages to see if this had been posted already, so.....

"Senna" the documentary/film is available for viewing, at least here in NorCal on Comcast

If you are a Comcast customer and you don't have the basic tv package (i.e. you get Xfinity with On Demand function) it is available for no extra charge/FREE(movie info: 105 minutes long, about 70% in english no subtitles).

To get to it: On Demand / Premium Channels / Xfinity Streampix / Movies / titles "S"....search for Senna.
or just do your basic Menu / Find Shows search and type in "Senna" Bingo.

Shaping up to be an interesting season.

The deathwatch on Massa's career is already insanely intense...
Forza Ferrari!

Perez just said that despite him being in the Ferrari Driver Academy, he is sticking with Sauber until the end of the year. maybe hes being low key about the situation or maybe hes actually going to stay. the Jarno rumor also keeps popping up too.
I am glad that RBR isnt as dominate as they once were. I am also stoked to see Kimi doing pretty damn good for his return!

i really hope this is another rumor
May 1 (GMM) More reports are suggesting Mark Webber could be Ferrari-bound.

One of Spain's leading F1 correspondents, Raymond Blancafort, wrote in El Mundo Deportivo that "there may be a pre-contract" between the Maranello based team and Red Bull's experienced Australian driver.

Webber, 35, was also linked with Ferrari last year, before Red Bull decided to sign him up for another single season alongside Sebastian Vettel.

It's got some good elevation change though, doesn't it?

It'll be like Monaco without the history, charm, or class. Right up Bernie's alley.

yeah the upper portion of the track is elevated from the river but the whole track just looks boring to me. at least Monaco has some challenging corners

i love how Alonso is ever the Ferrari poster boy praising their gamble on leaving him out on 30+ lap old tires to try for the win.
after i saw how fast Hamilton was turning laps, my excitement for Alonso's lead quickly went away.

SO true. What's funny is that he was putting up some pretty fast laps but only won the race by about 3 seconds. The sauber and renault are pretty quick cars this year! I wonder who's next in the Pirelli Lottery.

you mean Lotus? im a Kimi fan, so id love to see him win again. Grosjean as of late has been showing him up unfortunately though which is a big surprise to me.
after Hamilton's mechanic told him to pick up the pace, he sure did. it seemed like the top three guys who did a 2stop made it really pay off by walking away from the others (mainly Alonso)

As a McLaren fan, this season while drastically better in terms of overall excitement, is really becoming extremely hard for me to watch. Miss-management is the name of the Macca game.

Also.

yeah it seems McLaren and Ferrari switched positions in terms of competitiveness....which i like! i do feel bad for Button. it seems has nothing can go his way.
ScarbF1's blog (http://scarbsf1.wordpress.com/2012/07/05/f1-jack-technology/) has a nice write up about the front jacks that teams use and how McLaren changed theirs and have since done 800+ stops before Silverstone with thankfully no issues.

Moldanado has also tied Hamilton's 6 penalties in a season....with 11 races still to go  Perez was right, he's an idiot and will get someone hurt. his horrible move on Perez in Monaco was something you see in NASCAR, not F1.

i also cant wait for Fox to stop airing the damn races! i cant stand not watching the race live (or a recorded live race.) i really hope the Austin race is not a taped airing. that would be horrible for US fans IMO.

I just dont see the attraction to car racing...call me a hippy, but it seems to be nothing but air and noise pollution, wasteful of the Earths resources...but thats just me.

But flying people around the world to race bicycles creates trees and rainbows. The pollution coming from the actual racing is negligible compared to the pollution coming from the logistics side of it. So following that logic we should also stop bands from touring, athletes from competing anywhere they can't walk to and maybe ban holidays on foreign soil.

Well, okay...sounds like a good plan. Start today?

But seriously. This is the only sport that pollutes as a direct by product of the activity...even in your example, the band on tour can also carry freight in the aircraft that carrys them, the bands and athletes also. Car racing pollutes. Period. And for what? Is there any healthy by product? (The answer is no.)

If the bands wouldn't be bringing a **** load of amps they could just get 20 bands to tour simultaneously in one plane, but for some reason they all want bring their own gear.
And with bigger bands their gear usually travels ahead of them so they don't have to wait a around for it to be set up.

The healthy by product is r&d. While the engine in a roadgoing mercedes will have next to nothing in common with their f1 engine they will have made a lot of advances that make the engines last longer and run more efficiently. Traction control systems were developed for racing and have made driving a lot safer.

What exactly is the healthy by product of bicycle racing?

Gee, I dont know. It has a lower carbon footprint, it promotes a human healthy Earth friendly activity, it doesnt pollute or put a huge strain on natural resources...r&d efforts for Lance Armstrong trickle down to us alot faster than R7d for Michale Shumaker...

I just dont dig auto racing...I shoulda stayed out of this one, but last time I checked this was a cycling board. I knew someone would get their panties wadded up over it.

This.

...and developments in the composites market; medical communications, I know a lot of the advances in medical sensors & telemetry have come from f1 cars; 3d design - if there is anything in this world that pushes the limits of 3d software it has to be the crazy shapes f1 engineers have to use, that tech gets passed down to consumers as it is developed.

And speaking of bike racing. The Specialized Venge carbon layout and structural design was aided by an F1 design house.

It might have a lower carbon footprint but it still has an unnecessary carbon footprint. Also a lot of people drive to a spot where they want to ride.
While the r&d trickles down faster it has a lot less of an impact because it is really only used by a few people as opposed to the r&d from motor racing.

Don't worry my panties are not wadded, I just like to argue when I have some good arguments. But it's always hard to convey the fact that I'm talking in a normal tone of voice when using a keyboard.
I don't dig road cycling racing at all. I think it's lame that teams decide well before the race/season who inside the team is going to win etc... But I can understand that there are a lot of people that dig it.

Now I'm all for reducing carbon footprints and I'd like to think the fact that I commute to work by bicycle nearly year round offsets the few thousand k's I rack up per year on my motorcycle both on the road and track.

I will admit my dislike of auto racing is fostered by NASCAR and other stateside racing which is pretty ignorant. Formula 1 takes more talent as a driver, and there are hotter chicks in the crowd...

Good point, but personally I think most race cars in general aren't driven daily for a reason, and thats to not leave a noticable carbon footprint. And just an fyi, don't go to an NHRA drag racing event if you don't want to see and feel a "carbon footprint" shake your body, rattle your teeth and make you cry all at the same time. mmmmmm nitro
