Some of you may know Sanjay (Metal here on RideMonkey) He is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada! Those of you who know Sanjay probably know that he takes most things a step further, after he reaches Canada he wants to ride his bike up to Alaska!

His touring bike is at home in Orange County, Ca and he would love it if someone could help him get it to Canada. He thinks he will be at the Canada border around September 15th. He can probably arrange a place for it to be left somewhere in BC.

So if you are heading to Canada or Whistler and can pick up an extra bike in Orange County he would really appreciate it.

I will be hearing from him on Thursday or Friday, and that is when he could arrange for a place for the bike to be left if you will be there before September 15th.

Thanks!

Who?

Two things stun me about Sanjay:

1. I remember 2sixstallions.

2. No images come up on google search.

Otherwise, I'm always glad to help another rider, if needs a hand around the Bay Area.

If you can ship it to Seattle I will drop it off somewhere in Van/Whistler the beginning of September.

Thanks McGirk, I might hit you up, but the touring bike weighs a ton, so it will be expensive. Although he said he wouldn't mind if I sent him one of his old "dirt jumper/road" bikes

Sirchomps-a-lot lives in BC. If Sanjay needs to pick a bike up somewhere, Kurt can probably help out. Not sure about getting there though.

I saw Sanjay running his dog through Santiago Oaks a few months ago. He's still a badass.

I can't help, I'm not going to Canada until late September. I just thought I'd mention. By the way, you might want to narrow down your requirements a bit. Getting the bike to PEI by September 13 probably won't help...

I remember him running that cruiser down the downhill course the day before the jump. Total WTF moment for everyone as he went by.

I remember watching Scrub and Sanjay that day, and the road bike and pit bike jumps too. Good times for sure.

That was back when you could have kegs at your booth on the infield. Coincidence?

Let me know if you end up wanting to do it. I need to call my buddy where it'd be shipped. PM me perhaps, let me know what I'm getting myself into.
