Anybody have any experience shipping a down hill bike from the US to South America / Brazil. I tried to go on USPS.com and it would not give me a cost. Looking for a estimated cost?

I am going there in 23 days. I will drop it off in Sao Paulo

Very expensive to ship there.

Who are you flying with? Might be cheaper to check it as baggage. Iceland air charges about $50 each way. You have to box it up.

CBJ, try to find a local operated forwarder in the US (ones who ship exclusively from the US to you), they will be bringing in stuff from the US to your place in bulk so their rates will be cheaper than UPS/FEDEX/DHL.

Yes, that is what I have done once before when I shipped to Vitox (who unfortunately has not been on Ridemoney since 2008) in Chile but he arranged who I could ship (somebody in Miami).
