HAha, yeah. But it give the kids more respect for their food seeing where it comes from and such. The kids dont seem too traumatized after. Plus those kids et PAID.

4H is ****ed up. The kids raise these animals as almost pets, then they are sold for slaughter.

I do not always agree with Chico here.... But this is a true statement here... I did the whole raise an animal for sale and slaughter thing myself, and it taught me just what chico said... Respect for your food, understanding that when your eating meat you took a life tosustain your own. Seriously changes your perspective on how meat gets to your fridge....


BTW, not a single person that was in my class turned veggie either.... in fact after seeing it all done we more discovered that home raised pets with better diets tasted better.....
