great show. it is funny when Jax's real English accent starts to come out.

Henry Rollins character should be killed off soon so he can save some face

I have been associated (not a member, but family) with the H.A. of california since I was a kid. cloe to being a member several times in my 20's when riding with the boys but never committed to the salvo, even knowing it wouldnt have been difficult for me at all since it was family. But I was told in the long run I will always be a part of the brotherhood whether I liked it or not.

it sure scared the hospital when the boys came to visit me in the hospital, they decided to make a rally out of it, bring my mom to visit and brought sacramento, SF and redding along for the ride. some 65 dudes in the hospital was pretty spooky for the staff. hilarious

but anyways,

I was recently at my moms and asked "Eli" what he thought about the series in casual conversation and he had told me that the production crew had come up from santa barbara to buy the guys dinner and some drinks at poor reds and hear some storys for a new series they were going to do.

Eli told them that they cant be bought for food and drinks plus knowing the information could be threatening for those involved and declined the offer. two months later they called back and had said they went to the vagos in So. cal and got the crap beat out of them for even trying to find someone to talk to and the dirty shirts (rivals in the area) set the production office door on fire.

He claimed they offered 5 grand per "story" that could make an episode and still denied them.

he says the show is crap by the way, I dont have TV so I have never seen any of it but I am sure it isnt anything more than drama and only a glimpse compared to what I seen from the sidelines

Never watched it, but if RR and mancilG like it, how good can it be??? I'd rather watch Sex and the City. That's saying something, as I think Sarah Jessica Parker is a horse headed cunt.

I like it, it's one of the few shows I regularly watch. I agree with sanjuro in that it has a certain Falcon Crest feel to it.

It's already been said... Whether or not it is true to how the clubs actually operate is beside the point to me. Anyone here a "made man" that can dissect The Sopranos for us? It's a highly entertaining show. Sometimes it gets a bit too Hamlet for me but I think that Peg Bundy does as superb job in her role as the matriarch.

IMO best show on TV right now. It's basically the only show that I NEED to be home in time to watch. I was literally watching 10+ shows last year with 6 hours on Mondays and now this is the only show I really watch. I was going nuts a couple weeks ago when I missed an episode and hulu doesn't have them for a week later so you can't catch up. Luckily I found it on demand on a friends TV.

I think the quality of the acting is also top notch. Ryan Hurst is unrecognizable as Opie, I saw him again in Remember the Titans the other day and couldn't believe it's the same guy. He's pretty recognizable in his movies because he always seems to play the big friendly Guy, deaf paratrooper in Saving Private Ryan, brother on Medium, conspiracy theorist in Taken. Holy ****! I just found out though his IMDB Bio that is dad is Rick Hurst who played Cletus on Dukes of Hazard. Charlie Hunnan is great too, if you haven't seen Green Street Hooligans, I recommend it.

I thought about the other show made by the same creative staff, The Shield.

I'm not a cop, but that show had something sinister which made it very watchable.

SOA everyone is too nice and normal, even though I think every character has committed a murder.

I think watching TV to find something realistic is kinda defeating the purpose. :)

I like the show. Havent watched it religiously or anything but I catch it from time to time and its pretty good.

Hmm. Started watching this but honestly, I find the writing a little weak. It's not Deadwood on bikes like I'd been hoping for.

And the plot in general is kind of a joke--just way too many obvious nagging problems, mostly how they get away with **** without even trying, especially when off their turf. I can suspend some disbelief, but it gets stupid fast in this one.

Will likely keep watching, seeing as I'm living a slow life in a slow town and spending most of my time with a baby, so maybe it'll get better.

I liked Henry in season 2 as the crazy separatist. Overall I liked the show and is one of the better ones that's been on. There aren't many shows I watch with regularity other than this and Archer.

Wife and I started watching it towards the end of season 3 (Abel gets kidnapped) and all of season 4 (yay, they got Abel back, duh). Now we're trying to catch up through Netflix with the earlier episodes.

What makes us "laugh" is the language/scenes/in-your-end-oe's through the episodes. How did all that get through the censors? Oh wait, it's on after 10p.m. and not on local channels.

Yep, we do enjoy a good back-burning during dinner.........

My only objection to this show is based in the legality of it all. Sooooo many laws they seem to just ignore and/or that don't exist in that reality.

My understanding is "peg leg" is one of the new 3 that joined SAMCRO from the Nomad faction. The ones involved in the house break-ins being in the paper. And did you know one of the new characters is an ex-Hell's Angel? As for Tig, come on, is that really how one would sound while his child is being burned alive? Hell, I was louder. Though I do see Tig going completely bat-chit crazy now and damning all torpedoes......

Its not like they are claiming this is a "Reality Show", not that those are real anyways. I have enjoyed watching this show since it started, and the season premier this season was pretty awesome. Can't wait for next week.
