That's better. Though they still get to eat and have the cake and now get some free marketing. That will probably generate them more in PR than the cash they will have from Lance.

Part of another thread on Bikemojo...

Lance was riding a Crumpton w/ Di2 on Saturday.
On Sunday he was wisked off of Auditorium Shores in a black Suburban during the Star Spangled Banner. I guess he had alot on his mind. It was surreal watching him motored away like a policitican going to his next event, even as everyone else was showing respect to our flag.
so he didn't ride in the event? ***

did he ride the crumpton from mellow johnny's to the start of the ride only?
He did not. We were expecting him to, and were planning for the media blitz. Instead I saw him head down Riverside about 15mins early in a suburban. Lawson led the ride out, followed by B/LS kiddos. Which I thought was cool and symbolic as the new breed of American cyclists taking the reigns.

Saturday he showed up to the Driveway on the Crumpton for the photoshoots. It was built up Friday afternoon. He rode off afterwards on the Crumpton, as well. He looked defeated. His speech Saturday sounded like that of a lost soul.

Again please read the article about that I have already posted there is a little bit more to it than them just saying they want their money back

http://velonews.competitor.com/2012/10/news/sca-promotions-seeks-to-reclaim-bonuses-paid-to-armstrong-for-tour-victories_262306
It will still be an uphill battle for them to get their $$$ back because they settled the case during arbitration. The justice system generally frowns upon reopening cases. There should be finality to lawsuits. It's not like there is a new claim (even if there is new evidence).

My post was more aimed at other news speculation that sponsors would be coming after him. I had not read the article you posted until now but that said.

" Armstrong won the case on the basis that the original contract between SCA and Tailwind Sports did not include any stipulations about doping."

The statement above pretty much says it all.

I think it would be cool if a frame manufacturer made a dopers editions bike. Maybe have syringe holsters in lieu of bottle cages, IV bags of blood in place of saddle bags, and clean urine sample cup holders on the bars.

We ship t-shirts all over the globe. USPS EMS is what, $27 or so to Europe, $50ish to Japan?
Know what sucks to try to ship internationally? Bicycle frames. Complete bicycles? Ever worse!

True story- the server that had my website on it caught fire last week. Database is there, webfiles are lost
Now to build a new webstore... and figure out Drupal 7.

Was discussing this with a friend today and he mentioned how he thought cycling was a joke compared to all of the other sports because of the PEDs. Really? PEDS were clearly rampant in baseball. They may have testing now but if cyclists can beat the system for decades with a tougher testing program other pro athletes certainly can. The average US pro ball player has significantly more resources to get a nice scientific cheating program. The average NFL player is a ****ing freak of nature. A nearly 40 year old Ray Lewis is bigger, stronger and faster than almost every NFL player from the late 80's. People attribute this to 'modern nutrition'. Indeed.

Have you considered Wordpress? In my experience it's easier to use. It has a great community and just about any sort of extension or plug-in you can think of is available.

Several major news sites are citing a report that Lance Armstrong is considering admitting to doping during his professional cycling career.

While we don’t typically cover much in the way of racing news here on Bikerumor, this is pretty big. With lawsuits and claims for monies pending against Armstrong seeking reimbursement for payments and bonuses earned during competition, any admission could cost much more than what’s left of his reputation. Oh, and it could open him up to charges of perjury.
