Ronnie, on a more "serious" note.

Will you guys possibly offer custom ano jobs on these things too ?

possibly laser etching on top

Go with a black fork. You switch bikes too often and black goes with all colorwayz. ;)

im too old to wear the PJ outfits.

Shorts and a black shortsleeve raceface vented something -

But i go so slow i need to look good, fast guys can ride a shopping cart and nobody would ever notice.

Having a good looking bike is about all i gots left, esp when telling stories in the lifts.

What exactly woiuld you be looking for?
In this case, considering purple to match the rest- yeah i know vain and girly, but i ride slow, i prefer to look pimp doing it ;)

Lasering i know is possible, a good lasering can add almost photo like renderings on ano surfaces.

Sure it will hurt resale, at this point im looking for a fork i can keep for some years which is where DVO comes in(granted its as good as i hope- so being on par with the current 888 evo TIs is key)

this is an example of laseretching on ano, and on a round surface- note this is not what i want, but it shows the potential.

Hell it could be the DVO name etched in there, along with some stripes or similar, all the process really does is remove the colouring pigment from the anojob, so its not detrimental to the durability of the coating.

Its just a request really to add a layer of custom to a fork, and unlike the big companies, small ones like DVO can probably make it happen within a reasonable price, cos it doesnt need to go through 50 boardmeetings to be decided, ya know ;)

then you do that.

im sure they can do both.

I dont know why everything has to be so either just one or the other with you, but hey i cant argue with your postcount. you win at this internet DH.

In the meantime im sure DVO can decide what might and what might not be something they would consider.

thats the funniest/dumbest things ive heard on the internets..even with all my posts
maybe they should make everyone's idea and then YOUD win. who knows, maybe the DVO crew bought some Affliction tshirts and think your idea is "cool."

but hey, you got me on my post counts. i bet youve been waiting to use that line all day.

i expected nothing less from you on this as well as any other thread where YOU dont agree with others.

It really is great to have someone like you around the site to keep things "real" obviously you know more then any of us about this- i mean you must be the steve jobs of DH style with all that insight.

Its always great to see guys like you manage to toss a pic of a mentally retarded kid on top to prove a point. That just really showcases why you win.

That you, had to edit on top that just shows you got mad skills at this too right ?

Back on topic, Thx for taking the time to even deal with us folks on these forums Ronnie, its clearly an uphill struggle.

I with the stickerless plain; you can always add what you want - if its covered in grabage graphics (stickers, laser, clearcoated kaka) then the we're all stuck with crap.

I am not to sure of how custom we are going to be able to get with each fork. The decals on the sliders will be removable, but we are still trying to decide on exactly how we want to release the CTA. We have a lot of request for the decals to be clear coated on the CTA right now. soooo many options to take into consideration before the Emerald even touches a bike.

That was right about the time that Italy took control on the marketing. Those were bad days for everyone!!!
Now could you please stop talking about technical details and colorwayz and come to the extremely important things that we all expect from a crew that was behind MZ products: will there be DVO girls?????? :D

Glad to hear there is a fail-safe for the fork coming apart. A seperated 888 mid air and a broken back were enough to keep me away from them for good.

dropping some info on the enduro fork yet?

We do not have any information about the enduro for just yet. We still have a pretty good size project to finish up with the Emerald right now. As soon as we get some good information about that new line of DVO product all of you will find out.

ronnie - any info you can give regarding the 'very special shock eyelets' mentioned in the vital slideshow a while back? i'm assuming it's not simply polymer DU's, spherical or needle bearings because, well those aren't 'very special'.
