Bet those last 11 seconds in the first half are looking real good, now, aren't they, Pete?

Also... when will coaches learn to stop taking timeouts before field goals? It NEVER works, and it gives the kicker a shot at correcting.

Not a good day at the office for Pete Carroll. Those last second timeouts do seem to backfire more than they work, and they make the coach like a complete dumbass when something like today happens.

Still, heck of a game. I wrote the Seahawks off at halftime. I'm happy to see Matt Ryan finally get a playoff win.

Amazing. Both the Pats and the Falcons completely blew what appeared to be a dominating first half.
Seriously. I got home from a ride right at the peak of the Falcons' lead. Turned the TV on and was REALLY surprised at how lopsided it was. And then the Niners woke the fvck up (I'm assuming? What the hell happened in the first 3/8 of the game anyway?) and that was that.

The Ravens just seem fired up right now. I think they're going to pull this one off.

The Atlanta defense was just swarming in the first part of the game. They were all over the place - containing Kaepernick in the pocket, forcing errant throws, locked on the receivers... then it all just went away. I mean, they allowed Venon Davis to stay wide open for an entire drive.

Also, Julio Jones is a beast. The throws he was pulling in were spectacular.

am I the only one who thought that there was a complete lack of calls and when there were, they always win against the Niners?

It would have been a blow out if the lights didn't go out. Took all the Ravens momentum away, but the 9ers lost so I'm feeling more better!!!!

Raiders will be back in the Super Bowl in the year 2137, just wait!!!!!!:thumb:

Baltimore danced better than Beyonce, wore more makeup than the cheerleaders and played better football than the niners, talk about over-achieving.

Yep! I think Alicia Keys was in the Vegas line for how long the Anthem was. Who adds words to the Anthem? She finished singing then added like a 10 sec extra word part at the end. Someone told her in her earpiece "Hey you are screwing the over/under add 10 seconds somehow"

That reminds me of the "Apple's Doomed tablet" thread when the Ipad first came out.
that one is still WIP. Apple's market share has been decreasing for a while now (despite the introduction of the ipad mini). Their market share is down something like 10% since 2011.

They're going to lose on the price wars alone. Google has been doing very well with the $200 Nexus 7. And the latest rumors i've heard is that Samsung is prepping the galaxy tab 3... to be priced at $150.

Ok, so I'm not crazy. I thought I heard the start of it while I was in the kitchen, prepped ingredients for jambalaya for what felt like about half an hour, then went back into the living room and she still hadn't wrapped it up.

First off, you are talking to someone who has actually never bought an apple product in his life of any kind. Mainly because of pricing and my lack of specific need for one. I am a big fan of android as well.
That said, to say that the Ipad was not a runaway sales hit for years you have to be sniffing a very special kind of nose candy. Forget marketshare, even if they never sold another Ipad ever, those things raked in more money than Dolly's tits.

obviously it was a hit. at first. how could it not have been a hit considering what the competition was at the time the ipad launched. even the few years after it launched.

now, apple is reportedly scaling back on component orders to suppliers. In the meantime, companies like asus and amazon can't build their tablets fast enough.

my "doomed" prediction was on a long-term timeline.
