Just tried the new tld lid on this weekend.

First impressions-

It's way lighter than I thought.
It's ridiculously comfortable.
The current paint scheme doesn't look goofy in person.

At this point I would totally get one.

What is it with Euro helmet designers? TLD has been setting the bar for like 15 years and yet they still can't seem to figure out how to rip off a proper looking design? China would have had 6 models for sale before the Troy's paint dried.
Could you please point me to the 6 chinese rip-offs of the D3 that look as good as the original? Thanks.

"would have". it was a hypothetical scenario. He was implying that euro's are a bunch of weirdos and suck at making rip-offs compared to the chinese.

I do understand what he is aiming at. But did you/he even consider that Urge doesn't want to rip-off a TLD helmet? They found their own, unique styling as does Lazer and POC. And by having people like Barel using their helmets people buy them like sliced bread. Similar marketing as TLD: whatever the pros use will sell. ;)

So are you more of a hello kitty, superhero, metal flake, or standard moto/retro moto kinda guy? Face shield or goggles?

Faceshield is okay if it's removable.....

Yes, but moto shops are low on totem pole for the A1, if thats what you are talking about. Until we get caught up with demand, its bike dealers only on A1, but if you mean D2/D3, yes, happens all the time.
Already have a TLD Full face, I was asking about the A1. I'm not in a rush so maybe I'll wait till they're more readily available. Thanks.

I am going with "There is a Gwin on line 1 or a Butch on line 2"

Put 1 through please. ;)
Hey now, I don't know that I've ever called Stik. He's great at answering emails and I can't afford the A1, so all quiet on this end. Would love to try it on. Billy Goat Bikes had one in stock yesterday, but didn't go check it out for the same reason I don't park my butt in a 2013 Tacoma at the dealer. :D

Ahh, had a moto shop order me up a A1, said it was due on beginning of March, now it makes sense. Not in a rush for a new helmet, so I can wait.
