Found out this morning that I have to go to FL for 2 weeks starting Sunday or Monday. BigT is pissed off about that.

May have to go look at a couple of million dollar houses today, the kid who was supposed to go may not due to possible illness.

No plans for the weekend besides a friend's kid's 1st birthday party to go to on Saturday. It will be the guys hanging out drinking while the women folk chat about the kids. Should be a decent time.

Happy Friday! I was up at 345 and on the road a little before 5. Currently sitting in North Conway waiting for EMS to open.

I walked in on a kid taking a pee in the bathroom. He neither shut, nor locked the door. Wtf?

Morning. Nothing out of the normal here. Haley decided to have a screaming fit at midnight, so my 6 hrs of sleep got cut notably. Otherwise, I am getting the Subaru tuned tomorrow, which I am really looking forward to.

Day 2 of conference, woo hoo. Got most of my trail bike rebuild partz in last night...had to bloody order an E13 chain guide wheel thingee all the way from bloody England, local shop distributors seem to be out of them. Just need to get the old 2006 'Zocchi fork out for a rebuild, thinking Suspension Experts.

Was at the Comedy Cellar yesterday and after the 4 comedians on the ticket had done their job Dave Chappelle showed up and the room went crazy. He did a lot of funny stuff about the pope leaving office

Morning all.

Today we have a "town hall" meeting, should be interesting since 2 of the company executives sent an email out saying they will be leaving earlier this week. I saw one of the higher ups carrying a bunch of iPad mini's. Hoping they are passing them out and I am lucky enough to get one.

Also today I find out about our taxes and if we will owe or not. Pretty concerned since I got a bonus that was almost equal to a years salary last year. I put a good chunk of it in savings just in case they want to take more than the 51% they already took.

This weekend I am going to go watch monster trucks at the local arena. This is going to be awesome. Haven't been to one of these things since I was a little kid. I paid for the whole seat, though I'm sure I will only use the edge of it.

I hate kid birthday parties.

Took kid to dr. For 2 year check up, went to Wegmans and almost bought pork roll but decided against it because I'm fat. About to go do some plyo workouts since there is too much snow to ride the trials bike.

It went great! Unfortunately the position is only for 10-15 hours a week for the first couple years while they build the programs... they hope for it to be full time in 1-2 years, so I would have to decide to either make it work WITH my current job or find another gig to make up the hours. It would be rad to get in to this position now though. It would be running outdoor education youth programs.

Jim retired in 2010 I believe. They had Zoli Teglas join and sing for them. If I remember right he had some back problems and actually collapsed on stage at a show last summer and had to have some kind of emergency back surgery. Jim rejoined late last year!

I'm with you guys on the old stuff being way better! The shows are still fun though and they usually play several songs from the older albums!!

Finally cleared the background check for the new job. Going to go spend some of the sign on bonus at happy hour. Lots of packing and organizing for the weekend.

Congrats, Westy!!


Great PT session today. 17 days after ACL surgery, I can walk with a normal gait, albeit slowly. My therapist is impressed. I'm only allowed to do that during PT though. Two more weeks in a brace, but I'm down to one crutch and I don't have to wear the brace around the house. My knee bend is at 125 degrees. I'm rehabbing like a champ. Back to work Monday after a three week surgery vacation (only had to use three personal days but get paid for the entire three weeks).

I don't think I can bend my knee 125 degrees. Glad you are healing quickly. The few times I have had to rehab the PT's thought I was doing much better than average. The reality is the average person is fat dumb lazy and rather unhealthy so you should expect to do really well.
