This thread brings the epic memories. Still miss my old Scream... damn thieves.
Still have that Roach pad though! It's a prized possession.
I ought to track down a first gen Scream frame and put together a fitting build kit with all the stuff I liked and everything I wanted to upgrade to... Hope brakes, Avy DHS, 24" rear wheel (gotta have it!), and a Dorado/Shiver/Monster/DHF up front. Those actually climbed decently for 50+ lb bikes.

I'm 99% sure that is my ex-wife's new husband's bike.
My old Scream? That's a long way for a bike to travel (from Canada), but it has been 6/7 years and I have no idea how bike thieves operate. Would be pretty funny if that turned out to be true.
