Yeah. I mean, I like the Sammy Hagar song "I Can't Drive 55", but trying to update it to match the increased speed limit was lame. And people either get the reference and think it's cheesy or don't get it and think I just can't drive.

I started using "The Machinist" on other forums that I have joined more recently. Not exactly creative, but more fitting and less embarrassing.

The 2 I have--

First ever, pinkies4, is for 2 reasons...... I have 4 ladies in my life, as well as, if you know what polydactyl is, then you'll have a little clue of Alaina's actual birth day.

Then for my cycling sites, mantispf2000. 2000 for the year it started, and mantispf because yes, I did own a ProFloater until someone decided they wanted to 5-finger discount it from me. Sure hope he face-planted, because I ran my brakes reversed (and still do).

This reminded me of my 1st online name back in the 1990s before censorship.

I really became an uncle in 99 when I got married, but the name stuck in 2002.

My buddy Fred of "Wolfhound Cycles" built me this:

He used to shoot hoops a lot, and needed a name for the frame. He called it The Uncle Cliffy. TRIS

I sometimes feel bad about all the children who had to die for me to secure the privilege of using my user name. Nah not really there are plenty of children left to enslave for the purpose of world domination.

Mine shows a lack of creativity and inability to be clever. It was a month long nickname for me in high school. When pressured to come up with something to make an account on a bike site in '09 to buy a bike it was the only thing I could think of. Then, I used it for the local site, again because of a lack of grey matter function. Then, I joined here and added the Ride because, you guessed it, I suck at being clever. I'm okay with it I guess, though if I had a do-over I'd probably use something Cthulhu/H.P. Lovecraft related or maybe something from an Irvine Welsh novel. Or a reference to an obscure movie to be a pretentious dick.

I don't have a fancy custom user title.

It's a hard C. It's Kieran with a a bad Irish accent. :p If you say Kee ar an it works, too.

I am more interested to hear everyones regrets about their custom titles than their user names.
Nailed it,

My screen name I'm fine with. In a fataly stupid move my custom title went from godamned awesome (milf hunter) to creeper #1.
