I cannot promise that I won't wear it once first for the knee pad product test photos I have to take in the next few weeks.
Please do!

Does m/L TLD D2 mean anything? Just measured 57.5-58 cm

More this kind of stuff than cartoons

Those heritage ones are like 200 bucks a pop. What are they running over there?

You seem to have mistaken these for high-quality helmets. Actually that's not fair, they aren't all crappy helmets and when everyone in the country has to wear one on their scooter it keeps the price way down.

I'm only taking them as nicer looking than some of the ratty crap on ebay that some dude found in his attic.

I'm not going motard racing in them or anything. You can't get hurt shuttling dh trails, that's all I use them for. You can get a lot of that stuff here. But it's either inflated prices on the same stuff you're seeing or some over valued thing that has spiders living in it. You just keep putting up photos of designs that I can't find here. Seems like what what comes into the US is all the same 10 designs.

If you find something unique, grab it. If not, not biggie. I just know I'd have a field day over there.

Started looking again and this found it's way into my life

NORCAL is the hizzle
mehhh why not. BMX has definitely become a fashion show. What happened to the OG's like Mirra, Nyquist, Kagy, all the real riders.
Funny, a bunch of BMX guys from the 80's riding pink bikes and wearing acid-washed jeans just called and said they have no idea who these "OG's" are.

Pro BMX has always been about style and fashion, at least to some extent. And that includes the "anti-fashion" guys in jeans on black bikes.

But it is true that skinny jeans don't get caught in your chain as easily as parachute pants.

Somewhere dark, cold & wet....
My old Switchblade is still hanging on my wall, and I miss it. I wish they would start making them again!
Give it time, I'm sure Giro will be looking to bring out an ENDURO helmet before long.

Despite being 15 years old, I reckon it still looks like a better piece of kit than the current alternatives:

EDIT: although they may want to tweak the design...
