I hacksawed up a couple carbon frames when I worked at a shop. They were irreparably broken and I'm a huge nerd and wanted to get a better look at how they're laid up.Wait, what? Why?

Crashed a few months back and no visible damage then the paint started chipping...Wait, what? Why?
There was also a crack behind the BB. They wanted the frame back to recycle.

Commencal warrantied my Supreme DH and they didn't want the frame back. Just a few pictures with the BB cut out and serial # showing. That way I couldn't sell a cracked frame. Worked for me, I have a cool wall decoration and didn't have to pay to ship the bike back.Wait, what? Why?
