Oh...my...god. An american resort is finally doing everything right.

1. Pro Race down a gnarly, legitimate downhill trail (bullet). Which seems to be the exception these days. Although I was hoping for UV to Chainsmoke to Twilight Zone I'm more than happy with this.
2. Old School Kamikaze race
3. And most impressively, an enduro that doesn't have a sh*t load of climbing and uses lifts!!
4. And double most importantly, HEY ARE RUNNING LIFT 16 HOLYSh*T!!!!!
5. And they are doing a bunch of other stuff I don't really care about, DS could be cool though.

I just got REALLY excited. Link Here

To complete this look, you must blow past ANYONE with total disregard, tongue wagging in the wind, yelling "STRAVAAAAAA!"

I for one at pumped to watch the amateurs destroy themselves and ruin their lives in the bullet rockgarden, and conversely watch the WC pros destroy the rock garden and ruin my life.

If they use that first rock section before the trail crosses the ski run, there will be plenty of carnage! That section was gnarly deep last year.

I was the starting timer for the first Kamikaze in 1985. Ran across this thread while working on a chapter in my book about it.
HAHA nice got my first Ross MTB about that time and would ride Repack area a fair bit. I am going shooting images and may pimp out the Zerode to a few riders.

I love pumice. I think you can probably just gap that section if you're a really good rider (I've never tried it). You're talking about that short section thats in the middle of the left hand turn before the big rock garden right?

Interesting, says the Bullet race is starting from the top... That has to be a mistake.

That would mean the course will be upper skidmarks to toll road down to bullet proper? Which means you would have to take the bus to main, then head up the gondola.... Seems logistically to be an absolute nightmare, and will take a LONG time to get from one run to the next.

Whoa they say bullet is getting a facelift, sweet.

An endurance type downhill race from the summit to the bottom of bullet would be kinda cool. But I bet they mean the race is starting from the top of Canyon, not the Gondola.
