I'm 6'2" so I went with the large, stock bars are a bit small at 785mm but with stem spacers they feel good

cool thanks, i really appreciate it.. i like frames that are maybe on the tad smaller side (from what im recommended). and i was told at 5'11" i was right in between the medium and large. so i opted for the medium, kinda hard not having any LBS that stocks kona (to sit on), but thats okay, i did as much research as i could and asked around on the net... btw love animal bmx and miss those dayz!

9nine9, those TRs have REALLY grown on me, love that color with the deemax wheels!:thumb:

hey, how tall are you? im 5'11" and ive got a Med. operator frame that im building, and am just curious to see the frame size to height relationship.
I'm 5'11" and ride a medium Operator. I like the size.
The reach on the Operators are on a longer side for given size, so the cockpit of the medium Operator is as long as most larges, or even some extra larges (like Evil, Pivot etc.)

My oldie SX hybrid*, AM mode..

*With mix'n'match longer lower enduro chainstay, shorter shock tower and 2.25" stroke dhx air, it's SLACK
(65deg HA, 335mm BB, 1125mm WB) and feels stable during steep descent.

Also the 'short' SX toptube is between my previous S and M sxtrails... feels just right for me (174 cm height)

The only drawback is the short and slack SA (same as HA in SX) but with stealth reverb and slightly forward saddle position, it's okay (about 72deg SA C-C) - and 1x10 drivetrain with 32T front to keep up with my friends during ascents..

This is my 'temporaryears' bike before the next 'standard' with 650B etc becomes mainstream.

Cheers!

great, thanks! i had researched the hell out of it and it and called a kona dealer a couple of hours away and had recomended me a medium.

although i did not know they run a little larger.. good to know. my frame looks super small, but there are no parts on it, so it makes sense. ;)

Canfield must have a deal with the devil.. it blew me away how well this thing pedals and descends, it's like having a 5" bike to climb and a 8" to descend.

Always amazes me how Sundays manage to look fresh and modern so many years after their introduction.

Looking nice. Why the 888 CR?

You ridden DH anywhere around here yet?
I'm playing with a fairly strict budget on this one as I'm doing air ride on my Passat and new wheels and bought that ktm. I'm able to et the fork for shop cost and I can't touch anything Not beat for that price. Plus I figured I could buy the evo cart later on down the road if this thing doesn't perform.

I haven't really had a chance to ride yet. Rode once but nothing much.

I think my 2013 shock is bent, bought a Manipoo Swinger 4 way as a spare and gave up on waiting for Bos bits so it has been the only shock I have been using. Something is making an awful noise when the bike bottoms out and my direct mount stem points in a different direction to my wheel, I sense a new bike coming late 2013, mine seems to have gone to **** after I put the Huffy stickers on it:mad:
