Avalanche DHS seal head removal please HELP!

I have 2 Avalanche DHS shocks.
1 is the older version with no adjuster on the reservoir and the seal head just pop's by tapping
it with a drift/centre punch.
But on my newer version with the threaded seal head assembly it does not budge at all
and when i put a pin spanner in the 2 holes it just turns both ways.
Also it does no knock of like the other as i have tried and marked the head.

HELP PLEASE!

Have you tried calling or emailing Craig? He is really good about helping his customers out even if you bought the shock used.
