I'm playing with a fairly strict budget on this one as I'm doing air ride on my Passat and new wheels and bought that ktm. I'm able to et the fork for shop cost and I can't touch anything Not beat for that price. Plus I figured I could buy the evo cart later on down the road if this thing doesn't perform.

I haven't really had a chance to ride yet. Rode once but nothing much.
The CR cart is technically better anyway.

Any insight as to what would qualify it as being better? To be honest. I bought it because black/gold/budget. I was on a 2012 888 RC3 yadda yadda on my undead and was really happy with it so I took a leap of faith on this newer one and hopefully it does what i need it to.
The CR gets a spring backed IFP. The RC3 whatever it is (which I have had since 2010) doesn't have that and when they say the new one has shimmed rebound, what they really mean is it has a shimmed check valve.

I don't know if it's better on the trail, but technically improved yeah. The CR gets a separate, IFP backed damped similar to the 40 or the avalanche 40 cartridge. I'm not sure if the rebound is shimmed though, and you only get adjustable low speed compression and rebound, not separate high speed. The adjusters work, however, which is a nice touch.

The trusty old workhorse bikes start to grow on my. Why upgrade it when it works. No problems with the shock and service?

Yup it's a crime to take a photo of a carbon bike without mad bokeh, that way you can post 34 photos to make sure you have every decal in focus in each shot.

Nice looking bike and thanks for not posting 34 photos.

34 Bokeh shots are much better than the Bukkake he posted.

I figure as much hence the lol.

the photo was actually for something else and was supposed to have the moto in it. It's the only pic I have that is hosted on the WWW, so it was easy to use.

Plus its a moto and a mtb....don't get better than that.lol. My garage is such a sh*t show it would be tough to get a shot without a ton of other bikes or crap in the shot anyhow.

my soon to be 2013 DH bike.

My Sunday is needing some serious tlc before the summer, but in the mean time i have more or less finished my am rig for the summer in the alps! Just need to retrofit the zee mech to my 9speed sram setup and get a slightly lighter cassette and she's good to go! Playing around with bar height atm.

Really like how the rims and headset cups match the couch, drapes, and accent wall to create the ultimate colourway - pro move.

:thumb:

Srsly, nice build and I'm sure it will shred in the Alps. Also looks like you have *plenty* of steerer to work with for bar height adjustments.

Hi everyone,

I know how much everyone likes to fill out surveys. Or not.

But please pay attention to this one as it might be to your or to any of your friends benefit in the future.

I am currently doing my dissertation for my bachelors degree in hospitality and events management.

Therefore I am completing a study to increase value of action sports resort based on the location Whistler.

Please note that this is not only an academic research as it is also helping me with my future goals.

I hope that you pay attention to this survey and I appreciate anyones help for my studies.

Thank you very much for your participation.

Here is the link to the survey:

http://fluidsurveys.com/surveys/gregor-voss/value-creation-for-action-sports-resorts/

See you on the trails!

Cheers,

Greg

not the right place to post dude.

i did your survey btw.. i dont think i understand what youre trying to do here.. youre trying to increase the 'value' of places like whistler so they can turn around and charge us more? like mtb resorts arent already expensive enough..

Built this up a couple months ago.

Intense Tazer VP. I've wanted one of these since the early FSR style frames, but never got one. Saw this frame on Ebay without the shock, brand new, and decided to scoop it up. Build got out of hand quickly... ;)

Frame: Intense Tazer VP. (2010?)
Fork: Fox 831
Shock: Fox CTD Float
Brakes: Shimano XT
Cranks: Shimano XT
Derailleur: Shimano XT
Shifter: Shimano XT
Cassette: Shimano Ultegra 11-28
Chainguide: MRP G3 mini
Pedals: Twenty6 Predators
Headset: Cane Creek Angleset. -1 deg. for a 67HA
Stem: Twenty6 F1.2
Handlebars: SMAC Innovations SW820
Grips: ODI TLD. (Just replaced with Sensus lock ons.)
Seat: SDG Ifly
Post: SDG Ibeam micro adjust
Clamp: DKG QR
Wheels: Easton Haven carbon with 12mm Hadley axle
Tires: Maxxis Minion DHFs (rear has a Larson TT currently)

Fun little bike. Currently doing trail rides, mostly goofing around. Super short wheelbase makes it lots O fun.

SICK!!!

Btw, in the second pic it looks like your Revox is touching the rear triangle "mudguard". Is it an optical illusion or is it really hitting it?

Thanks!

It's close but doesn't touch. Honestly it worried me when you brought it up as I hadn't noticed it before.

Wow. Awesome bike. I would really like to try a Wilson and see how it rides but the build is really nice.
