It's only going to get worse. Most new riders don't buy 26" bikes. I have a lot of contact with people who have been riding less than a year and 80% are on bigger wheels. I don't care for them, but if I bought one, I would run a falt or inverted bar. (I'm 6'1") If you want normal height bars and a 29" wheel, that's what you need.Everbody should rider 29r

i see where theyre going with it. on my niner i run a flat bar and inverted stem. also i want to say the vast majority of sub 1000 dollar bikes we sell at the shop are 9ers.
Best thing about 29ers is that they are keeping 26ers cheap as they arent so cool anymore...

What are you getting at? I actually run a flat bar and a dropped stem on my DH bike, but its... a bit odd fit wise.
