I'll hold out on my PS3 at least until they stop making games for it. I did just pick up a decent gaming laptop a few months ago though so I may not drop money on a new console just yet. But if I do it will definitely be a PS4. I've never owned an xbox.

In other gaming news, megaman joins smash bros. And there is a legit wolfenstein coming out. Not wolfenstein branded as call of derpy or any crap like that. real wolfenstein, with Nazis and everything!

PS4 is way more in touch with the hardcore gamers. Until Nintendo and xbox stop trying to sell me on games that I can piss off my neighbors or cut fruit in half with my hand (I rather cut real fruit and eat it) Then I am going to stick with Playstation unless sega makes a comeback because the Dreamcast was BOSS!

a few sites are amazed at how the One can have 8 controllers used at once. unless you have a giant projection tv, i dont see how that would be any fun to do. hell, using split screen with two players gets annoying, i cant imagine 8 people playing on the same screen.

The Steam Box sounds pretty cool, and according to that TechCrunch article it looks like it should be released in the next year or so. I hadn't heard that, but I think I'll hold onto my scrilla until the SB is out. The only bummer about not getting Xbox One is that Titanfall is going to be released on that platform first, and it looks like a pretty sweet game.

These claims have not yet been independently verified, but a quick trot over to Amazon shows that roughly a third of the over 1,900 reviews are one-star ratings with most users complaining of their consoles arriving DOA (the machine displays a pulsating blue light and refuses to boot).

I'm going to wait for Foxxcon to appropriately discipline their workers before getting my PS4.
Halving their rations and doubling the beatings should have them whipped into shape before I celebrate the birth of my Lord with a 147hr Battlefield 4 marathon session.
