I'm watching the live stream from my laptop tethered to my 4g phone from the parking lot of snow summit while I wait for the lifts to open. Life is awesome.

Greg's down in a couple of riders, I really hope he pulls in a good run. Would be a shame for him to fade out

So the key to domination isn't geo, tyres, compression, wheel size or your trainer, it's having a name with a G in it.

Jesus fvcking christ.

EVERYONE knows scott is not a socal company. That's why them making demo chainstays is swizzyland on a VERY recent model year bike flies is the face of this whole stupid 'outdated' demo been ridin in the US too much gwin bullshlt. Everyone I know that has ridden one really digs those gamblers and just talks about how capable they feel at speed. And whether you want to admit it or not, it shares some of the same things that everyone wants to bag on regarding an 'outdated' demo.

It's really no wonder all someone has to do is drink a beer in this sport for you people to think someone has 'personality'
first of all, you need a beer.

no need for shouting. I didnt see impressive results with neither scott or demo. At least I talk about men.

Thats funny that both spec and scott are big corporate companies.

However, GT rocks now *end of sarcasm*

You know WC racing has become hectic when Greg is blowing off feet to get in the hot sat. That guy is as cool as a cucumber, great runs by both him and Gee.

Martin Whitely again the real winner of the day, rubbing his hands in glee at Gwin's result.

Too bad Mcdonald, Hill, Hart crashed. Would love to see what they are capable of.

I would have lost my entire dh bike bike for the bet had we of shaken on that, lol

I wondered if that would have haunt me, Gee kicked ass for sure with a sizzler of a run. Only thing I was right about was mic getting a better time than Sam.

Doubtful as his fastest rider might just buried his hopes for an overall this season.

But always stoked for Minaar who is the only one besides Smith who could take away the overall and world-champs from Gee until noone crashes or gets hurt.

Just love his understatement which is probably the reason for why he's underhyped when it comes to bets. He can do backflips or supermans but when it's on he's on.

Funny how all of the sudden, Gwin doesn't point his finger up in the air to salute the supreme zombie in the sky in thanks now after his runs.

Maybe the imaginary superhero zombie in the sky is unhappy with him and the reason why he's underperforming, and not the Demo? ( Troy seems to be doing just fine)

Do it old school.

Write it down.

Then 5 years from now, go back and read it and become aware of your horrible sentence structuring, incoherent progression of ideas, close the diary and keep quiet in shameful obscurity.
I love it when the pot calls the kettle black, but I will not criticize. I will respect your rant.

Hate to get in on the Gwin pile-on. But either he is totally not fitting well with that Demo or the Era of Gwin-omination is over. more than 4 seconds off the pace @ VDS. One bad race at Fort Bill, ok, we can chalk that off as a "bad day". but 2 in a row? with margins like that?

No foolin', to get top 20 at a UCI WorldCup means you are hauling and have the skills to compete at that high level. But to this armchair e-DH'er, did 1)everyone just elevated their prep, training, riding that much more? or 2)Gwin was alittle too relaxed in the offseason. or a bit of both?

I, too, agree, that "you guys are too into this" comment was alittle condescending. considering that RACING is essentially marketing and some prototype testing, which ultimately drives sales. And profitability from sales, ( from us, the consumer) is what pays for Jacy, your race rig, your salary....

I definitely don't mean that "we" (consumer) owns Gwin, but our interest in UCI WorldCup racing and at times, down to the minutae, is justified, and should be encouraged. right?

Both! You have to consider that this guy absolutely dominated two seasons with margins noone did before he got his best sponsor-deals and everyone tells him he's the fastest. Sounds plausible that he dropped down the intensity of his training unconsciously because he felt so confident. And then there are guys like Gee who went through hell in their perspective and are now seeing the fruits of their work.

Perhaps Gwinner dropped Tomac from the program along w/ Monk and Trek?

If Johnny T is on your payroll that has to be good or at least 4-5 seconds per race just on principality of badassness.

Funny how that works huh, for that reason alone I dont mind seeing him lose.
But the way he looked like he was about to cry after the race, after playing the "i dont give a **** game" and saying "its just a bikerace". He can go cry the internet a mother****ing river as far as Im concerned.

I didnt even see him congratulate the top 3 like most riders did. For me thats being a self centered douche.
Kinda funny how he said in that Spesj promo viddy how he just wanted to have fun this season and how hes gonna be the rider to beat and the best rider in the world and all. And now hes coming up with excuses like, theres no real DH tracks back home so I couldnt practice in the off season. I didnt hear him complain about that the previous two years when he was winning races.

^^^This.

And the "its just a bike race" stuff needs to stop. pretty sure I heard needles say it too. If its "just a bike race" why put your whole lives into it? Riding/Racing is a way of life and not "just a bike race". Idk. that just really bothers me.

edit again: sam hill is gonna have a problem free run one of these days and smash everyone like the old days
