the fact that the majority of the springs arent anywhere near what they have printed is what makes it funny. and 26lb increments? why not 25? and other companies have tried to do small rate increments but no one is offering them anymore (K9 for one.)

and Spesh has come out with suspension products they thought will improve the bikes...the Brain (im sure this isnt anything like that crap though)
Look for a few people to be doing small spring rates for next year. They will cost more (even in steel), but will actually be dynoed to be within 2% or 3% of the printed rate.

Yep. How dare they spend the money/take the time to make springs in smaller increments that customers have been asking to purchase for years, that no shock or spring company has bothered to put forth. It literally blows my mind that somebody would be upset that they would try and come up with a shock they thought could improve their bike, and also come out with a product that people have been asking for to accompany it. What is there to get upset about - that they listened to you, and cane creek didn't? fox didn't? RS didn't? I don't get what there is to be mad about...
k9 industries has offered steel springs in 25lb increments for at least 2 or 3 years.

K9 hasnt been in business for a few years now and their products never really made it out to market so well
K9 is back in business as of May. From their facebook:

Dear Everyone,
unfortunately due to the major political issues which have occurred in my native country of "Venezuela", i have forced to put on hold everything K9 related and focus on the more pressing matters regarding the wellbeing of the family.
Now that things have stabilized somewhat I am resuming full activities regarding K9 products.
Please contact your local distributors regarding the new batch of K9 components.
Thanks for your time and my most sincere apologies for the delays.

didn't k9 also do "lighter" steel springs? That would be an awesome in between for weight and cost...I'd gladly spend an extra $20 to save 50g vs. $200 for 150g.
they did do a higher quality steel spring that was lighter. but i remember it was something like $90 USD. at which point i'd probably opt to spend the extra $$ and get a ti spring

Shut the hell up because 'anything', in the English language, equates to, anything. Way to be a smartass, but you kinda have to be smart in the first place ;):rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Do me a favor. When you read a post by me making an obviously broad sweeping generalization about an entire country, just don't read it. It's not for you. Go stare at a lollipop or something. It'll make more sense.
