What trails are good ones? Please don't say "all of them".

Would love a good warmup, and any natural trail that has a lot of good flow...been riding too many paved berms lately.

There's one trail off the backside that gave me a 1/2 chub every time I rode it....the one with the long bridge to a rock drop, a ****load of berms and tables and a step-up. It used to tie in nicely to the jump park thing, but I think they changed that. That "trail gap" drop was fun as hell....

Whatever trails you ride, don't forget to stop at Brouemont after and stare at French Canadian hotties.

I was there only once a long time ago. It was pretty rad then, but it would be great to have a head start on picking trails.

Warm up on #7. The "Old" WC runs on the old face are the fun ones to me. You'll love the place. Having been to St Anne, Whistler, and Bromont numerous times, I'll say Bromont is probably the most fun to me. Less 'rewarding' as whistler (So well made everything ends up easy), less gnarly as St Anne, but a nice combo in-between that is short enough you can blast runs non stop all day.

Enjoy!

Yes! I figured out the reason. The trail signs only indicate the trail numbers! Besides the big trail maps at the top and bottom of the chairlift, the trail names don't appear anywhere else. Hence why people can't remember the trail names at all!

To me, 7 is over rated. It is pretty mellow, but high speed so it really works out your arms without giving much "WEEEEEEEEEEE" factor.......unless you tie it into the bike park, or the trail that runs parallel to the bike park. I'm not the best rider, but that trail can be railed from top to bottom at fast as you want.

But really, all the trails at Bromont are stellar.

The best warm up run I find, is starting from the the top of the main chair lift and pretty much doing the very start of #7, but then there is another trail that cuts off from it and you can ride all the way back down to the back side of the mountain.

Thanks for the tips! Not really any bad trails, but the double blacks down the face (18/23, 19-20s) are some of the best technical trails I've ridden. Excellent trail work, physically demanding, and fun without just being hard the whole time. We didn't spend a lot of time on the back side of the mountain.

I have to kind of agree on the "flow" trail review. I didn't love them. Seven wasn't bad, but 52 or whatever the main one on the backside was seriously brake bumped out, and really sketchy in parts. I'm less of a "bike park"er and more of a steep, technical trail guy, but I have my fun at places like highland and burke. Maybe I just didn't ride those trails enough, but they beat the piss out of my hands for not a lot of return...

I went up a month ago (that place is great) and I would concur that 7 is the trail that I'd warm up on. It won't be your favorite but it gets you up to speed and has a little bit of everything. 19, 20 and 22 are technical and have some steep stuff. The top of 19 or 20 is pretty chunky ( reminds me of the threshold section after the rock slab and 90* right hander at H-land...but more down the fall line). 18 and 23 were also fun..23 or 18b had some wooden cat walk features (only rode that section once).

59 to 53, off the side was also fun (53 is the WC course although there is one section, the gnarliest part, that nobody seems to ride. You'll see it from the lift.)

Just make sure you check out the bridges. Some of them you can launch and others you would not want to. Have fun...I was just thinking about that place this morning!
