that MSA WC podium, one of them will be the 2013 worlds champion.
To which I respond: Mick Hannah and Jrad graves.

Has Mick ever not been on the podium there? Last time werent the top 3 times within .3 seconds or something nutty.

hannah DNF'd in 2011
graves best result there is 6th, followed by 8th and 13th.

in 2012 gwin was 0.63 back and hannah was 0.99 back.

ah youre right, didn't he qualify well and then break his stem/handlebars? Still though, Graves has been talking about how he's been training all year for it, and from the sounds of it the PMB is gonna be well suited for the enduro riders, and Hannah has a real shot I think. I have higher expectations from hannah then hill tbh.

Gwin still looks like he has 2 broom sticks for a front fork.
Boxxer's have looked amazing all year.

Gee Ath for World Championships.
He on the pedals big time this year.

After the rain started I shutdown the laptop pissed that Gee was going to get a easy one this time. Started watching the replay at Gwin and I noticed that Gwin and Troy were having to force their Demo's to get active, much more than any other rider/bike. I'm really starting to think there is something to the Demo being two different bikes between the park and the race.
What can you say about Hill's lines, but he's back. Smith is the definition of will and perseverance. He conpletely put to rest the notion that his WC win last yrs was by default. Poor Brenden, I think it's safe to say that he has reached his ceiling. A run in idea conditions and he couldn't hold on to the second spot let alone stay on the podium speaks volumes that he'll just be the whip king.
I may have gotten disappointed by the rain, but watching these guy still hang to all out to keep Gee honest was nothing short of amazing.

Fairclough didn't have ideal conditions. It was raining pretty hard in the middle of the course by the time that Ratty came through. Also very dark in the woods. The course might not have been super slippery, but visibility must have been an issue.

I wonder how far up the track he started to feel it go. He looked a little funny in the speed trap area.

Brycelands mechanic is the mechanic Minnaar had the year he had 2-3 mechanicals.
Following year he moved to Bryceland, Minnaar had a new wrench.

Peaty's mechanic was building wheels at MSA since Peaty was not there. I'm not placing blame, btw, **** happens.

Steve smith and sam hill boxxers seem to move a lot more than gwin or gee fork.

Its seems that the run pretty different set ups.

Didn't start to dizzle until Brendon was almost done his run. The next rider down got pissed upon up top and did start really affecting the middle of the course around Neko and Brook's run from Warner's comments. conditions were still good for Ratboy, he was having a good run until he lost a row of spokes on a $3000 wheelset. That was reflected in the split times from about Troy to Blinky.
Take away Brendon's two near crashes he could have been closer to Gee if not faster than Gee. With that being said, most of the guys that stand on the podium consistantly thrive on the pressure of playing catch up to take it to another level. Today that was Steve Smith...what a give it all you got run.

In another note, Robin Wallner had a pretty sweet run going until that puncture. As a Swede, I'm so bummed for the guy, he REALLY needs to get picked up by a real team and have somebody who knows what they're doing wrench for him.. I think he's had like 2 complete runs without crashing or breaking chains, brakes not working, punctures etc. for the last two seasons in the WC, while he's the current leader of the IXS European cup..
