So tired right now. 50 miles at >10,000 feet in two days adds up.

where the trails are
Good morning.
OK weekend, only rode Saturday but it was really fun. Trail bikes 'around' the bike park, so 2/3 of the climbs were on a lift then we'd ride back out of bounds. Still climbed about 2k so I still earned my breakfast bagel.

In a fortnight I start a new job, stoked. Gotta really focus on wrapping up freelance/contract work as much as possible over the next two weeks. Rode/explored a bunch this weekend, with a substantial portion of it being fairly lost. Eventually found the goods though, and learned that diligence pays off occasionally. I think after yesterday's gold mining Stoney, SkaredShtls and Polandspring88 can testify. Can I get a witness? Hallelujah!

Totally worth it. So absolutely totally worth it.

Exploratory discoveries can be awesome - beaver pond meadow

All in, totally awesome weekend. 45 miles of high-country is crushing though. I haven't hurt this bad in a long time. And it was totally worth it.

Tied up in the basement
I had a fantastic day at Highland yesterday with a bunch of other New England monkeys. My practically new Specialized Status that I found in the mtbr.com classifieds a few weeks ago rode like a dream. I'm looking forward to doing some more DH!
