So annette and I decided last night to call it quits.

we realized over the last couple of months that we had just gotten into a cycle of hurting each other and holding resentment. we lost sight of our friendship and got caught up in "us". with some events that happened over the last couple weeks we were so close to "starting over" and "making it work". then we realized that is the same cycle we have been in for 6 years and nothing has changed.

so we decided to break up, it really is the only way to crush our issues. we each need to work on our personal identities and figure out what we want. im hoping in this time we can continue our friendship because she is my best friend. i am just so torn up because everything about this is screaming to me not to do it, yet i know its the right decision.

I am in my 2nd year of A&P school now and i think im just going to focus 100% on that. im going to get out and ride more. i dont know how else to cope with it. I dont know why im posting this. i think i just want to get it out.

I dated a chick for six years. It sucked breaking up. Now a way better chick that I married and we have a kid. Don't stay in a relationship because you feel obligated. It's not going to magically just get better.

We tried because of the kid, but the reality is the kid is better off with us split. It's never to late to call it quits and as suck as it might be, the result is often better.

My gf of 2 years just broke up with me. It's been a struggle to get out of bed each morning but the more time I have to reflect the more I realize that it was never meant to be. Its hard because I still love her, but the feeling is not mutual. Life goes on I suppose.

A quote a friend said to me while in high school after my girlfriend bailed on my ass. I told him I was totally depressed and he told me......"Dude, there's more fish" Just four simple words, and he was right. There were BETTER fish.
