Patience Old Masters Winner, I have a day job (not photography). Pics coming later.
No, not impatient. I just love the story that the discarded and off shoot pictures tell. Anybody whose ever seen the Doug/Braswell pic from Carter's Lake or "Camo" from Dirty Bird knows that the sideshow is the real entertainment. ;)

If anybody has a video of me when I creeped through the MUTED cheering section, I would love it. Don't know who planned that moment of silence, but I was so focused on not falling, I could just see fists shaking out the corner of my eye.

I'd love to see the pictures that I assume were taken of me going OTB in the first woods section off the rock.
MP, I dont have any crash photos. 90% of the time I've got the long lense on (70-200) and seems 100% of the time you guys always crash right next to me.

Yea, I was a bit close for that lens it would seem. I was worried that my bike was going to hit you...glad that it (or my body for that matter) didn't bounce in that direction. Thanks as always for the race coverage.

Are you going to be putting up another "lost files" gallery on Vital?

Talia said something about it on the lift, I was asking her where the next race course was gonna be so maybe she said it to shut me up and change the subject?

Wow. Riding with Clealan is hard work. He never shows any signs of wearing down or stopping. You just feel like you owe Colonel Card Trick another run.

New trail that no one has mentioned is boss with some BIG OLD BERMS and a rock huck for good measure! Thanks to the local for showing us the goods. :thumb:

ASU is having a collegiate race here on October 12-13. Tentatively we are going to open from 10-3 those days.

I feel like that boulder raped me. Bars and stem are both bent.

Somehow I slammed the front end into the ground going off the drop and endo'ed. I think since I sprinted into the setup for it, I bounced the lead in and went massive front end heavy off it.

My stomach looks like I took the Houdini punch and got some soreness in my neck. Puffyness in the back of my wrist on the outside and maybe sprained my good knee. Never been slammed so hard off something so small.

Thanks to Sugar Brad for being on top of things in no time and the other EMT.

Also to Andy Devault and Randy Arnold, the first two guys to reach out to me by phone and message me!!!

Big ups to Talia, Moto, the Beech Mtn ownership, the EMT staff, and everybody involved in making 2013 a great season for DH in the Southeast. Couldn't ask for better final race weekend weather and track conditions, and I'm hopefully going to make another trip up for the October dates.

Congrats to Randy for the Boom! Magazine category win, to Gerritt for another dominating season, and to all the junior pinners.

Healing vibes to Butch, that sounds like a brutal crash.

What heck happened up there Butch? It really must have rung your bell. I yelled at you a couple of times down in the machined section and I thought you were ignoring me.

You got a pic and a mention out of it on the report: http://www.pinkbike.com/u/gojammedia/blog/Race-Report-Have-We-Ever-Raced-Beech-in-the-Dry-Beech-Mtn-Series-Finale.html

Hope things are ok.
First thing I started freaking about was "What if they ask me my name and I don't know it?" I sat up and started repeating the stuff I knew they'd ask. Was afraid I'd answer wrong.
