Crazy. Glad everyone seems to be okay, and yes that does seem like a poorly designed feature, but good grief. That trail (Air Voltage, I assume) has some of the biggest drops in PDS. To think you would just roll through and blast off everything in a blind train is just stupid. I mean suicidal stupid. Like four guys dying in a row stupid. They are lucky.

It's hard to figure out whats the best part. Is it when he goes off in mid air realizing that he's f-ed? Or is when he's on the ground watching the other guys crash land?

That is "Black Shore" and Garett Buehler was the first one to accidentally huck that. It's a suspended bridge riding on cables so it moves quite a bit. Even if there was a landing not many people would huck a moving lip.

The best part is when the first or second guy jumps from the bridge while everything looks like a normal train but you know what awaits the guy.

Those "idiots" as you call them are the Zenith Team, from my country, Argentina. DH is still at early ages down here, and looking at this video you can see why.
Doesn't matter where you are from. Blind bombing an unknown trail with features is stupid.

"Zenith", eh? Well, they're certainly at the peak of something....

I wish them luck.

I couldn't agree more. I'm not defending them, my original comment was meant to be sarcastic ;-).

I didn't see any "turn left" sign before that ladder. I'd say it's a poorly designed feature, but that doesn't excuse them from taking a slow pace run to know what would they face...

actually i spend there 2 weeks this year and had fun (on the non official stuff), but i know what value is and where i can expect it
I have no experience of anything else, but I love the PDS, specifically for the non-official stuff. Tracks like porridge / Peadophile / Worst Kept secret... to name a few are just awesome.

As for the huckers, yea they were dumb, but the blame is 50/50 here for me. We all do dumb stuff, some more than others, and when it's your turn, you'd like to think that perhaps someone might have had your best interest at heart.

I rode that trail last year, and on my first (obviously blind) run down it, I do remember coming to the end of that suspended section, and thinking "**** me, that's a sharp corner", and really having to haul on the brakes. I got around it, but only just. Very almost a crash.

It'd have been no-where as amusing as these guys though :)

Obviously only the first one has to get it horribly wrong, then all the others just blindly follow him!

i wonder how long the first guy was down there. when the video starts, it looks like the guy with the camera and the guy in front of him are the first to go. then when you see them launching thru the air, there is already another guy down there looking up at them...
