Wishing I could drink coffee right now. Planning on getting an hour or so on the trainer after work. We are expecting out first frost/snow tonight, so I need to pick all of the vegetables today. Probably spending a lot of today debating on how best to use my bike as a "do everything" bike, with the lowest cost and time burn to do any conversions.

My Friday. Hooray for Aussie style 9 day fortnight! Dakar boss asked me for something in a prickish manner. I guess he'll have to wait until tomorrow because I have a training session all morning. Oops! I have tomorrow off!

Meh, I'll help him out after my training... I guess he'll just need to stay awake.

Interview #2 this pm.

Well hello! It's been a while since I've been around. I just spent the last year in Afghanistan and am now exiting the military and heading to University of Colorado Denver.

I am sitting here counting down the hours until my separation. I’ve selling my car and currently commuting everywhere by bike.

I should be moved up to Denver by Jan and I am so excited!

Hope you’re all doing well too!

Mornin folks! Finally did the brakes on my car last night with a friend. It was about time, the pads were worn to practically nothing and the rotor was in terrible shape. Things feel much better now. :thumb:

Hanging around today applying to more jobs. We are packing up the car tonight and heading down to Albuquerque for the international hot air balloon fiesta. Anyone else going?

Did that noise go away, or was that in fact your tires making that noise?

One noise and vibration went away. The tires are still making noise as well. And I'm pretty sure the driver's side strut blew this past weekend so it sounds like the car is falling apart when I hit bumps. New suspension is on the way for the front and the rear. New job = new tires. Here's to hoping that's before winter so I don't have to coax these current ones through the snow.

10 mile run this morning. I felt much better when I stopped. Stuff to do round the house today, but I'll probably just sit around, drink beer and play video games. It sure is nice to get the house to myself all day, one day a week.

Edit: Welcome back RR. When do you separate? Been doing a small bit of riding with $tinkle, you wanna join us for a trip sometime? I can pick you up.
