this is the first time i have noticed the WC schedule for 2014 since it's winter and im now bored. It's awesome that windam is back and the US has a venue but holy hell we can do better than that...Year after year you can feel the disappointment in the track on sven's slideshows...
how awesome would timberline be in OR if the enviro nazis would get their head out of their asses.
Colorado? Yo you out there?
Bring back the big bear rock jump?
oh wait, we should resurrect the old Wisconsin norba dh course...scratch that.
i have no idea, not trying to be an authority just saying the US can do much better, i would hope that some did/dodid any other US venues submit bids?
ya that,s some good speed thru that section way faster then i,m used too LOLTracey Hannah put this up on her instagram. Crazy speed through the whoops on the Cairns WC track:

Well it's definitely not good news, but in theory there's a contract for the event so even if they don't open the bikepark to the public the race should go ahead.I don't know if this will be bad news for the World Champs in Bikepark Hafjel?

Or Maribor. Its World Cup that means travel the world,
WTF, no Schmaldming or Champery, UCI u suck dog balls!
schladming may still need to refill their coffers a bit after hosting world champs (ski) last yearOr Maribor.
Though I'm surprising Schladming doesn't want to get back to the WC circut. Now the lift and track are operational
cause the UCI hates DH?so future DH world cups will be on saturday instead of sunday, switching with XC...

In his recent interview on Vital he said he'd be racing at Cairns and on a DH bike.Btw, I'm guessing Grubby won't be in attendance with Yeti dropping their WC DH support? A shame if thats the case, as I'd be curious to see how would fare on this course (hell, even on his 66).
EDIT - someone should find an old XXL Yeti DH9 (actually not sure about model, but any old Yeti will do) and have Rennie smash down the track just for funs.
