Bonjour Groupe / Hey everyone!
We're currently planning a series of events of the Fat Tire kind. Based on the success of events that happened in VT last year, we're now going international!

We're still in the planning stages of it all but here's a rough schedule:

January 4th - UberWinter at Trapps in Stowe, VT
11-12 janvier Pompe Po-l'air, St-Adèle
Jan 18th - VéloNeige de Coaticook at Parc de la Gorge, Coaticook, Qc
Feb 2nd - GroundHog FatBike event in Bromont, Qc
Feb - Montreal Fat Bike event w/ Velo Quebec
March 1st: WinterBike at Kingdom Trails, East Burke, VT

Each venue will promote regional flavor and activities including:
- Free Fat bike demos
- Group rides for all ability levels
- Local food and drink
- Eliminator type Races with overall ranking

Like and share. We'll need your support!

A friend of mine put small screws into some of his older tires. He seemed happy enough with them for winter, and it was dirt cheap.

^^ Angry, I did just that when I lived in Tahoe. About 200 screws, an 1/8" drill bit, Tuffy rim strips, and a few wraps of duct tape, and I was set. Didn't set any land speed records while commuting, and I gave a few taxi drivers a scare when they'd splash me, get to a stop light, I catch up, and show them my tires. Never heard "I'm sorry" faster. And yes, they worked very well in our snow/ice.

WTF? Were you banking on the notion that one of the taxi drivers was going to put the cab in park, get out and lie down in the middle of the street for you?
