Why aren't you a mind reading psychic at work day.

Also the more management I do and the less I work with my expertise the more I realize managers are mostly useless and easily replaceable. Specialists aren't. I wish my old days when I worked with my expertize only. Especially that movie business is full of people who know crap about movie. Unfortunately they still think they know about them (good movies getting funded are in most cases accidents)

Early Wednesday morning for me. Sitting here at school trying to edit a written report from a group project. One third of it is written by someone who does not speak english as a first language. Entertaining, yet extremely frustrating at the same time...

Yay for coffee?

Work and I aren't jiving today.
Off to smoke bowls and hike in the woods with my dogs.
Being only muzzle-loader season I'm confident at least two of us will return.

get used to it. it's an important skill. and frankly, universities would benefit from having a course on just this subject
In most cases it's not the problem of not first language. It's a problem of not knowing how to write in any language. Did a lot of service manual translating for one company, plus a lot of news. Bike dude speak to English is a hardcore skill. Especially since bike dude speak in any language has worse grammar than master joda on bath salts.

Am I the only one that has never had food poisoning?
Twice. Once from some chili dogs I ate during a team penning compition and once from a double batch of frozen Bertoli pasta the wife undercooked. Both were terrible but the second was the worst. I'd not been out of the hospital that long and my abdominal muscles had been stitched back together yet. Every time I barfed my stomach looked and felt like the Alien was trying to burst out. /coolstorybro

How the f do you get food poisoning from a pre-cooked, frozen meal?

Serious question.

I got food poisoning once from undercooked Italian sausage. Ever since then, everything is well done for me.

Bertoli is not precooked, it is just prepared..... still has to be cooked.... Side note, even precooked food can harbor bacteria after it is cooked when temp drops into the "danger" zone
