what if i had a hard trail trek bruiser that had 2k put into it. also im just getting into the bikeing biz so i just need a cheaper bike to see if thats what i want really want to sart investeing by bills in.

the frame itself had crappy geometry and was a tank.
I would say the hardtail is not bad or good but ok.
it makes a good bar bike
there is no reason to get this bike with all of the other great bikes out there. dont.
for well under $2k you can get a brand new complete, with the bonus of a warranty.
along with a billion other bikes out there in the classifieds on various sites...

I just got the bike. Then I read the rest of the postings. Wish I hadn't but it has 300+ dollar mazzchozi (how ever its spelt) forks on it. Oh by the way I don't think 2k was put into the thing cause when I got home the left crank is wably (probably somesort of really soft metal). It looks pretty mean but what can I say I'm just starting into the sport.
Oh yea I got got the bike for $250. Also I'm just 15 so I can't afford a bike over $300. Unless there was some sort of outside support. Don't get me wrong cause I'm not a beggar. I work every day after school until 7 pm.
there were no bikes for $300?
i didn't see any probaly cause i was just looking on craigslist around my area
