Morning monkeys!

Office Christmas party last night, had a Secret Santa, I scored a bottle of Arrogant Bastard Ale. I had the boss, gave her a bottle of wine, gift certificate for coffee, and a half gallon of coffee with Oreo home made ice cream.

On tap for today is a bank run and an oil change. Tomorrow I get to crush the dreams of expectant black belts.

Be safe out there.

72 years ago today,y grandfather was sitting on the USS Raleigh, one of the first hit at pearl harbor. It was a month later when my grandma got a post card which read simply " I am ok".

Good mid-day.
Skied this morning; -1 to start but killer conditions everywhere and the hill was empty. Warmed up to about 10, ZERO wind which is very unusual for the top of the continental divide, and light snow all morning.

Just got home from the downtown xmas stroll, pretty cool to see the town shut down its busiest street for a small market night type event here, aside from it being-15 for the walk it was pretty awesome

Was working on a smart ass remark, but this stopped me in my tracks. Had work Xmas party last night, and not a word was spoken of Pearl Harbor, those we have lost or our comrades in arms who are still in harms way. I was not impressed.
