Haha, dude - it's in KZN region of Saffaland.
It can look like that one day, and dust the next :)

So whats the deal with minngar? There was talk about him retiring last year, he blew out his knee, but then I just saw something in vital about him being ready to race... Surprised that arguably the best (and if not the best, certainly one of, with extreme consistency over his career) hasn't had more attention. Is he racing?

Is Graves racing? Or is he just doing enduro this year?
Just had a look through his twitter, he's training hard for the endure series and there's no mention of DH. The endure round 1 is in Chile the week after Sth Africa DH. I'd assume no but we'll see.

I could see Marcelo or Simmonds getting onto the podium.. I don't think Bruni or Brosnan have enough horsepower.

I have great respect for Minnaar and trust that he/his doctors know what he is doing, but this seems waaaay to early for him to come back. Should probably take this year off if you ask me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he just tear some ligaments in his knee? A pro athlete with pro care should be able to bounce back from that in 4 months or so, tops... A full year off would be ridiculous...

I'm pretty sure he had an ACL cadaver graft. Those are at their weakest at about 6 months which is like now. Ask Lindsey Vonn what happens when you rush it. Again, I'd love to see him win this race and many more, but it seems unwise to get after it so soon.
