Didn't Maverick's SC-32 and DUC-32 forks achieve this years ago. Now, those were amazing forks built under the guidance of one Paul Turner. Maybe most newbies don't remember him. look it up.
Still have 3 Sc-32s running strong. 6" travel DUC-32 at 3.9lbs. Unheard of! What's the big news here?

Probably keyed stanchions, for one.
Those SC's and DC's were/are NOODLES, with fairly junky damping and internals, IMO.
Not to say I would ever buy one of the RS versions, either.
