why the surprise of the enduro EVO being the winning bike? 180mm travel, 65* HA (possibly slacker depending on where gwin ran his 40 or HA changes to this proto) - it's basically DH geo that was winning WC's on 'real' tracks not too long ago.

No. One of the top three, maybe two (and one or two of the top ten). Not sure which size Mik went with as his bike was setup to handle 26 or 27.5.top 3 on 26"

As happy as I am to see Gwin win, I hope he doesn't dominate like in seasons past. a little competition would be nice. Though with the stats he put up, I think I read he was fastest in every segment, we might be in for another season of Gwin domination...

Just watched the Redbull recap. Loic is a class act. They show him and Gwin talking post race, at which point Loic tells Aaron that he is proud of him and glad to see him back on top. Probably speaks to how Gwin carries himself and treats others I would imagine.

I find it awesome that Redbull has hired the Parkin bros to make practice, quali, and race "edits". At first I was dissapointed that dirtTV was no more, but the speed with which they post this stuff and the quality is awesome (and so is the lack of philosophical blathering from Jones about wheel sizes). I'm so pumped Redbull has taken on the broadcasting of mountain biking. There will be a permanent stock of said product in my fridge so long as they keep this up!
