I'll back the Rangers for now then switch my backing to a western team. my only hope is that Chicago wins the west only for the fact it will be another Original 6 cup final.

I have a feeling that we've already seen this postseason's greatest hockey. Kings/Hawks will be tough to beat. I'm rooting for the Rangers, but I think they get rolled in 5 games.

Front Range, dude...
As a devoted Hawks fan, also of over 30+ years, I loved the Wings Hawks rivalry...and always rooted for the Wings when/if the Hawks were out of it all those years...loved Yzerman, Shanny (As a player!) Bret Hull etc...great teams. Datsyuk is still sick, as is Zetterberg, and they have a good young core now, but something big needs to be done or the next few years will be rough...read where management is meeting this week to talk the future. Free agency this year should be fun!

As a once and future Cali resident...go Kings. I left there just before their Cup win a few years ago. The guys I played shinny with often included a couple of ex Kings...I could have probably been ass deep in any post win parties there. But if they win this year, I will be aback in time to get in a few if lucky...

Fvck them. One blown call (goalie interference) in regular time that directly led to a goal and one blown call (clearing the puck into the stands without touching the glass) in 2OT (and the Kings scored just afterwards) leaves a terrible taste in my mouth, and it wasn't just to copious amounts of beer I was drinking last night...

...and I didnt even bitch about the blown calls (Offsides and a slash...) that led to the Kings tieing and winning goals against my guys...hmm...

More than anything I dislike hawks fans. I have a lot of friends who now live in chicago, or who grew up in chicago, and the hawks fans annoy the crap out of me.

They've built a good team with a lot of talent, I don't expect them to go away anytime soon.

Kings seem to have the upper hand here against the rangers.

That just show's you're not a real fan.
I'd argue the exact opposite. a real fan knows his team gets calls here and there, and so does the other team, **** happens. The better team usually comes out on top in a 7 game series regardless of a few bad calls.

Agree 110%...but I think you are starting to take this thread a little too seriously...

I take nothing in life seriously, or everything in life seriously, I can't remember which mood I am in today.

Although there has been some good hockey and some overtime games in this cup, I was really hoping for a lot more back and forth....I sorta think the kings can finish it off tonight quite easily.

Lundquist finally wakes up...
Boy was I ever wrong about the kings wrapping things up. Had it not been for two crazy saves by lundquists buddies I coulda been right!

The kings outplayed the rangers, but lundquist way outplayed quick....great game. Enjoyable to watch for certain.
