Recently picked up one of this years Status 1. I think I'd like to slacken it out just a bit, probably 1 degree. According to the cane creek site, it's a 42 top, 52 bottom. Thanks specialized for always having to do things different. It doesn't look like CC or Works makes anything for these sizes. Anyone know of any other options?

Works will make custom headsets, I would email them.
This. Offset bushings are cheap and easy to install.

I got some offset bushings from this guy

He's in poland but he's pretty quick with getting them to the US.
Those will also lower that 14" as well as slacking the bike out if you also want that. But yeah, the status has a 1.5 headtube so you can do whatever you want headset-wise.

just put an 8.5x2.5 (180mm travel) shock on there instead of the 8.75x2.75 (200mm travel) or 8.75x8.5 (180mm travel)
drop bb .25" or so, slack 1.5deg or so.
if its a straight 1.5 (49mm top and bottom) and you are using a 1 1/8" DH fork, i have a -1.5 headset for you… if you ever bring my f;ing tools back
