Front Range, dude...
How many bikes do you guys have? I have been thinking that I may have too many bikes/bike stuff. You can buy bikes and kit all day long, but you cant buy time to ride them. Having a hard time figuring which one to get rid of...

Musing road bike- beautiful German made bike, got it used for a song.
Moots YBB- Titanium goodness from Steamboat SPrings, all 'merican!
Kona Kula Watt - Sweet carbon XC machine, also got for a song
Rocky Mt Altitude 70- Full suspension bouncy thing that is too much fun
On One Inbred single speed waiting for me in the states- Will advise as soon as I swing a leg over her. Love singles!

Trek 8000 that I play off as my wifes, but I ride it more then she does.

Soooo...long pole in the tent is, do I sell and make space or do I keep it all til the bitter end? They are all packed up and in shipment back Stateside now, excepting the Moots which will go back to Moots for a refit before I leave Germany...

My thoughts have always been keep as many bikes as you can until they start to overlap on with their use. Example wouldn't go out a buy a new XC bike and keep my old one but I'd go out and buy a new trials bike if I already didn't have one.

Five complete bikes and one work in progress. Mostly fun bikes (bmx, 26" DJ, full sus trail bike, freeride/slopestyle, and DH). The WIP is a 29er hardtail. I've been considering selling the freeride bike since it is an overlap between the trail bike and DH bike, but it is so much fun I don't think I could part with it.

Why would you buy that, or did you get it in 2004 when other DH bikes looked like that?

Went from four to two but I only use one-
DH- Nicolia Ion, piece of awesome.
Everything Else- 2Souls EVO, piece of ****(will do a review soon)

I have more or less always had two bikes. One was a 6x6" or 5x5" dually and the other varied between some kind of hard tail and an XC dually. Sold the XC bike a few years back and haven't regretted it. Now I just have a DJ/Park bike and a 5x5". I can't say I ever feel like I'm missing out on much other than perhaps a rigid or hard tail XC bike for those days where the 5x5" is overkill.

That being said, I'd love a steel road touring frame. That'd be sweet.

3 at the moment -

TR-450: all 42 lbs of glory
SC Blur LTc: fun for sure, but will be replaced with GG Megatrail
Fuji CX: my drinkin' bike

Thinking about getting a BMX bike for sheer sh!ts and giggles, and I'll likely sell it soon after (re)confirming I'm hopelessly bad at bikes, and a 20 just emphasizes this shortcoming.

I have a road bike and a mountain bike.

I have an older Rocky Mountain Spice XC bike that is too small for me and is only kept as a loaner to friends. My beat-to-hell Titus Quasi Moto is currently just a frame with a few random parts stuck to it.

They seem to get funky looking shock angles on a couple of their frames, I think that's all that puts me off, great people in regards to CS.

My next decision, Chromag or Production Privee?

Wrong, people have multiple bikes so they can say "I can't hit it 'coz I didn't bring the right bike" if I can't do something on my AM hardtail it's because I'm a sook not because it's the wrong bike for the job.

Trail bike and road bike. With my current storage options I really do not have room for more. I would like to have a dedicated commuter bike but I need to find a way to hang my bikes some how to make room for more.

Personally, 3..... total, 4.

Wife's SOMA I built for her with left-over parts from my riding (and they still work, too).

Mine--

Cannondale CAAD3 won on Alaina's first birthday (appropriate that the frame/fork is their matte green, too)
Banshee Viento HT, since the Cannondale is only for my road training now
Trek FuelEX9, which was a warranty replacement for my Fisher Cake4

:stupid:

I have the jump/park/neighborhood bike, the RM7 pain machine, and my CX commuter bike. I would like to replace the RM7 with a nicer "all mountain" type bike, but I don't have a spare $3k.

In hell. Welcome!
I got two and half Summer and two Winter bikes. Mojo HD + Turner HDR for Summer, Walmart Fatwally fat clunker and 456C fixed gear for snow/ice riding. The 456C is single speed in Summer but I am usually too lazy to even consider it when I have so much fun on the Ibis.

My garage is starting to look like a bike shop with 4 riders in the house.

I own:
DH - TR450
XC - Stumpjumper FSR 26"
Road - Carbon Mongoose thingy
DJ - Atomlab Pimplite
BMX (never ridden) old school specialized

My XC and my DH bikes are the only two bikes that I really care about. The rest were "too good of a deal" to pass up for "what they do better than my other two"
