So..mine shipped with 2 small containers of 3 wt..which apparently you use to rebuild/custom shim. Rockshox wouldn't have sent these things dry would they have? I know that was an issue with the 2010 Boxxers. Apparently they expected you to tear it down and add fluids straight out of the box before you rode it.

Im also suddenly dyslexic and used the 3 wt for the lowers instead of the recommended 30wt. I'm guessing that won't be that big of a deal. It feels good in the parking lot..guess we will see how it is on the trail. I'm not sure about base settings, so I just set them both in the middle.

Pegboy, no chance they send those dry.... you would notice immediately.

Also, 3wt on the lowers is a no-go IMHO, too thin (16 cSt@40c) plus its shock oil, definitely not designed for sticking into surfaces and protecting against wear.

Swapped it out with 15wt which is what was originally spec'd for the '11 WC lowers. I didn't have anything heavier but I think it should be fine for a few rides. We will see this afternoon.

I am sorry for kidnapping this thread but it's kinda of urgent : (
So I have 2012 Boxxer WC and d air sometimes get stuck inside d negative chamber .I changed d air valve and all d seals but still it's fooling me around ;( It just seems d air pressure in d negative chamber cant close d valve every time : (
Any suggestions guys ?
I am thinking of buying some 2015 air spring assembly like last attempt to fix it : (

Charger Question.
I have to put in a new seal head in my charger damper due to the old one leaking and having looked at the service manual it looks like i can just pull the rebound shaft and fit the new seal head without draining the fluid and reinstall. If i give it a bleed after will it be all sweet?

Alternatively if i was to change the fluid at the same time can i do that with only pulling out the rebound shaft?

Edit: anyone successfully warrantied a seal head? Google tells me it is a known issue
