I don't know if XTs will do much for DH level heat, but I am curious about the saints with the extra tin foil in between.

Not to divert one's thoughts from high top fades and parachute pants or anything, but I've used a fairly good number of the ice tech rotors without the new razor fins. They still heat up just like old one pieces from what I can tell. And they seem to come from the factory kind of warped, maybe from pinning them to the interior mount. The ones I've gotten have been a little unstraight.
The pins are staying tight though. Which is more than I can say for the centerlock versions when they came out.

Yes. I rode for 10 days straight in the park on XT's. No issues whatsoever.
i have 3 rides on my icetech 203/180mm rotors that i just installed with ZEE brakes , very impressed so far we road some steep trails today and my buddies AVIDS where squealing like mad and my brakes where nice and quiet and never lacking stopping power .
does installing new rotors really help? i never thought about it or replaced them.. after blue mountain yesterday my zee's were getting faded
Depends, are you running 203 front and back? If so then yeah, the Ice-Tech should help a little.
203 front 180 rear
In that case, you'll notice more of a difference if you use 203 front and rear with normal rotors. Or you could go full retard and put on 203 ICE-TECH front and rear!
