I took a look @ their website and saw their cranks. Any good? I'm looking for strength and longevity. My RF Diablos cranks are 8years, but I think it's time to retire them. My question, is that oval really expected to hold the disc side crank arm in place? These things don't wear or come loose?

While we're at it. How about their rims? Dent easily? Thanks, EC

i've got the XC cranks, aside from the BB bearings, they rule. I updated to the fancy version of their BB and those seem to be holding up much better.

No denting that you're aware of? I know companies can build a strong rim laterally, and I think the wheel builder has a more important role in that than the rim itself, but the denting factor is a big thing for me. Anyone else with their stuff? The chain guide is like a no brainer, but I rarely see anyone on their cranks or rims. Thanks

I break the bashguards off the chainguides on my DH bike all the time. But I don't figure that's E-13's fault.

I also dent the shit out of my wheels, specifically my mavic 729's, but as kidwoo always says, they still hold air and they are straight so who cares?

Why the concern over denting? Any wheel will dent (except carbon which will crack) if you hit a rock with it hard enough....

My Sunday came with cheap ass MTX rims and I thought they were good. Then I rode them. It was such a disappointment to see 3 huge dents in them after the first day on a $6k bike. I ran the same psi I always did on my old bike, but they were trashed after several rides. There's a similar post on mtbr, pb, or one of those sites I saw yesterday, so I started this one here. I concur that the WTB rims were great back in the day.

wow, i have no complaints from any of my MTX33 wheels. yes, some have dents but some are also 5+ years old and have taken a severe beating. i happily bought more and some mtx31's just to try also

mtx33's were by far the worst rim I have ever used. Lasted 2 months before I cracked one in multiple spots. Had many dents and flat spots too. 32-34ps, tubes, dh minions.

I had a freak problem with my free hub. Their customer service was amazing and they went beyond what I could have expected to help me out. Good customer service is something I have come to greatly value in this industry.

I've been riding their DH cranks for 4 years. Only issue was with the BB, but I found some Enduro bearings and installed those. They've been flawless since.

what sort of problem did you have? I have 2 TRS Race wheelsets and while one of them is perfect, the other one has a play in the rear hub I can't get rid of....e13 sent me new bearings but the play is still there...and on this wheelset I just keep breaking spokes too since September when I broke the first one (bought them last June) I broke 5 spokes so far....

The freehub broke. I send in the wheel and they replace the hub and new spokes. Why not send in the wheel and get them to look at it?
