Took apart the furnace yesterday to see what the deal was. Cleaned off the thermocouple and flame sensor, put er back together, and now it is working again. Gonna have to keep my eye on it some more for the next few days to make sure it continues to cooperate.

This is the most excited that I've been for this time of the year in a long time. A good friend has left for Cuba for the week, so I am looking after his dog and staying at their house for the week. I get to completely (and legitimately) avoid all of my family functions. Hoorah.

It's been a fun week of bachelorhood, riding bikes and drinkin', but I'm looking forward to seeing wifey and kids.

Have a crap load of errands to run then do a trail ride this afternoon.
Hi all. Baby kins took a headfirst somersault down a set of about 6 tile stairs last night. Perfect landing on her butt, though, and she was unhurt as far as I could and can tell, just mad.
Today the wife, kid, and (divorced) mother and father in law are decorating the tree while I veg nearby. We got pastries from the local favorite bakery--so much for limiting carbs.

Woke up to snow falling. First time down here so far this year.
After getting it back in working order, rode my bike today. Cleaned a slippery log ride, that was fun.
Also had two deer coming charging down the trail towards me, then run up a hill at the last second. Someone's dog was off its lead and as chasing them. Didn't get the camera out fast enough.
After pulling the fuse box out of my Excursion last week, I finally got it back in yesterday, got the battery charged and it fired right up. Cracked the windshield coming back from VT, so pretty sure water came down the A pillar and messed with the fuse box = dead battery. Seems to be okay now, but of course, its very wet outside again. Hoping it stays dry until I can get the windshield replaced tomorrow.

Where's the weekend gone? Carbs are ok as long as my legs are moving. 7 out of 7 this past week, yay.
