Laval, Qc.
went by all major and secondary manufacturer I might have thought, NONE of them are offering 26", Trail / All Mountain, mid to high end, bikes.

The only 2 that I found interesting are the IBIS Mojo SLR and PIVOT Mach 5.7

so the question is if there is no more choice, would that mean 26" become a bad choice? I mean, very soon wheels, tires, and forks will become hard to find, with less options if any available...

I'm usually an early adopter on majority product (not only bikes!!!) but as of 26, vs 27.5, I'm still convince 26 fit me better, but it looks like the industry is going to kill it very soon if it's not already done...

Yakistan
Transition Suppressor
Banshee Rune or Spitfire
Guerrilla Gravity Megatrail

Those are three I considered before turning to the dark side.

Tires, forks and wheels are still easy. Frames are a little trickier, but there are a ton of frames out there that are nominally 650b, but have high enough BBs that I'd happily run them with 26" wheels.

I've got a 26" Guerrilla Gravity Megatrail, and absolutely love it.

Evil uprising, commencal meta hiphop, and meta sx. I think banshee is still making a switchable frame (don't remember if it's the rune or not)

And then any 650b frame with a >13.5bb height.
I forgot about the Evil.

And yeah, the Rune and Spitfire are both switchable.

I just went through this process. IMO the best bet these days is a frame that accepts 26" and 27.5". Just to give you the versatility and future-proof it a bit.

Top runners for me were Banshee Spitfire and Guerilla Gravity Megatrail. The Banshee, which I ended up going with, has $100 drop out kits that allow you to run either wheel size in a variety of rear axle configs. I am 26" x 135 for now, but if I decide to go 650, I can....in 12x142 or 12x150 even.

Good luck mang.

That's every 27.5 frame made. So good news!

The GG megatrail in a 26 is a different frame entirely from the 27.5 one. You could throw 26s in one, but not 27.5 in the other. And as low as the BB is on those bikes, that's actually one that I definitely would not throw 26s in the 27.5 frame.

Yeah. I love mine, but if you want a convertible frame, it isn't the one for you.
